What Maan saw now should give him a clear view of what the consequences were. Geet had a bad experience which will follow her. His silence only added to the wound. She does not feel blessed with happiness enough to wish that on someone else.

What is good is Geet has built a new life for herself. She is independent, can take care of herself, has learned to carry on. There is unresolved hurt inside her which will surface when she sees normal caring gestures between people. She missed out on that.

We are not sure what role Neil will play in the story. Something is building up though. He has a tendency to create his own interpretation of events, stretching them in his own style. Maybe it will come to create trouble somewhere somehow.

Chapter 26

Of cos they are cordial to each other

They are still affected by each other

Geet's thoughts were reasonable

What she expected and what happened

Proud of Geet and her achievements

Hate that Maan ruined everything with his stupid remarks that he married Geet for the land

Daadi should have let Geet speak to Maan

At least they now spoke each other

But they did not address the elephant in the room

As expected Maan was jealous seeing Geet and Neil's closeness

Wish Geet would have confronted Maan

The love is still there
