I didn't know Qazi before this show and his Fame Gurukul popularity, listening to his songs- he is actually very good and has a melodious voice, sadly he couldn't achieve much in his career perhaps because there were better singers out there and may be he didn't get the right guidance or opportunities, and despite being talented, couldn't achieve much success. I see no ego in him either, nor is he living in some past fame or glory, even though at the time of Fame Gurukul he tasted so much popularity. He is always pretty respectful towards other contestants in the house, earlier people used to call him a copy of Shalin, but nope, he is his authentic self, he is a pretty unique contestant and there hasn't been a contestant before like him on the show I can totally see why he was popular back then as well despite apparently being a mediocre singer.

Exactly - he tasted success at a very young age but could never breakout for whatever reasons. He had movie offers but they just never seemed to materialize. What really stands out now is how incredibly positive he remains despite all the bad luck and career setbacks he's faced. You'd expect someone who experienced that extreme early fame to be bitter or have a chip on their shoulder, but there's absolutely no arrogance about him. He's taken everything in his stride and just brings such genuinely good energy to the show.

Take Amaal as an example. Very similar trajectory in terms of early success and then setbacks. His whole personality is now revolving around the bad / negative outcomes.

I have written quite a lot about his Fame Gurukul time so apologies if I repeat myself, but Qazi won hearts. Bigg Boss is still easy for him. Imagine being in danger zone all the time and having the judges walked out because someone else got eliminated and you were saved (though the judges didnt say that out loud) and yet he had no negativity in him. His goal was to impress the judges and be saved by them at least once. He was bad there but it was also the case of being surrounded by extremely talented people. It was how we struggle to make our space when we move to college from high school where all high achievers gather together. His resilience is top notch and whatever Salman said about him on the first WKV was so moving. The guy kept his head down and worked hard (something the likes of Rhiti wont understand). Today, he is a much better singer only because he listened to what his seniors were saying. Re popularity, I think he was confused. He wanted to be an actor. Fame Gurukul was a launchpad for him but then it did not work out. Otherwise, he had singing opportunities.

Exactly. I was very young back then so don't have many memories but what I do remember is that people in my family were crazy about him. He was a vibe back then, bollywood actors used to namedrop him.

Yes, he wanted to make a career in acting. He was good, could act, could dance, just didn't have the support I guess. Plus, he did initially have offers from Ekta etc but couldn't do those because he was in a 2 year contract with Sony. He was probably too fixated on being an actor which also meant his singing career never kicked off.

It is not like he didn't get offers. He did have a few offers which were shelved due to production delays etc . Then he was shooting for a movie with Ganesh A where he sustained a life threatening injury. Probably that is the dark phase he at times mentions.

I do hope BB opens up opps for him. A person like him definitely deserves more than what he has gotten!

Yeh kar kya raha hain BB iss baar? Iska ek move samjh nahi aa raha mujhe. He goes from impressing me (exposing the bully gang discussing nominations & punishing them) to pissing me off( designs the phuddu bakwaas rap diss battle in such an unequal manner) to impressing me again (with giving MAQUA/losing team then power to accept/reject captaincy contenders) Such a roller coaster ride of main ro ya hasun feels. Not that I'm complaining but I'm genuinely curious ke aisa power kaisa de diya BB ne. Chalo good, but if these guys are rejecting everyone, captian kisko banana hain inko? Mary ko? Woh kaunsi inki saggi hain? Won't she obviously play for and play by the and play under the influence of bully gang? Waise, Inke paas option bhi koi nahi tha na. So, they're prolly going for Mary for the same reason bully gang went for Gullu last time around.

And yes, as for Rhiti, they've decided to make her the villian opposite Qazi and she's so damn undeserving for EVEN THAT. I really hope that they drop that though. Hope she gets so much backlash ke isko bas beizzati ka eviction naseeb ho aur kuch nahi.

So happy to see the high rejections for Rhiti madam.

Cuz of soft spot plus feeling slightly guilty he fooled his friends on tv so prolly let em vent but I doubt he will have much patience for long like he's already telling aman stop always interrupting me before my point in a convo is finished or telling mahi na i might have been bad in yday's task but was performing solo in the apple task when mahi and aman were joking about bad Qazi did in the diss task lol
