The guy does not come across opportunistic. And while we keep talking about his acting, I find it difficult to imagine him play the various cards (sympathy, victim etc like the other soloer's did (Gulati comes to my mind). Probably why the audience finds him endearing.
The only reason I want him to play solo is because I don't think the people around him are genuine. Maybe Arishfa and to an extent Uditi. Aman still hasn't forgiven him, which is fine, but I don't think things will be normal
