India are through to the final of the Women's competition.

India have confirmed a medal in the women's cricket event, will it be gold / silver? On the back of what they've done over the past few weeks, you'd think they'll start as firm favourites against Sri Lanka, a rematch of the 2024 Hangzhou Games as well as the Asia Cup final more recently. 196 was always going to be a difficult chase, but Bangladesh never got going. They kept losing wickets in clusters, hardly found the boundaries and didn't make India sweat one bit. Dilara Akter, the opener, top-scored with 27, but wickets kept falling all around her. Everyone who bowled took at least one wicket - a strong performance for the Indian team, who are now through to the summit clash. Can Sri Lanka give them a fight in the gold medal game?
