Anyone watching any serials?

I was busy watching the Clancy trial, so I didn't have time to watch any. I just caught up on some arcs with Vijay TV YouTube promos.

Azhagae Azhagu - Nothing interesting except that the FIL is being the usual chauvinist, and the MIL is (hopefully) realising it since it is impacting her. But his behaviour would have been the same for ages, so not a new revelation. And the Bagyaraj character seems to be worse. At least you know FIL, MIL, Suresh, and Thangaraj are bad, but Bagyaraj acts good only for his sister and seems oblivious to his wife's and SIL's situations.

Thai Maaman - Is this serial a tribute to Bharathiraja? Haven't watched it fully, but the comments are just about replacing the heroine, whereas she looks good and especially has nice Tamil ponnu features. Revenge story pole, so full dishum dishum.

Ayyanar Thunai - Even the Ambani wedding was not this long. And still the wedding is not done, only the engagement. Hopefully Cheran will marry Chanda.

What's with Karthika back in the picture? Suddenly, her goody-good husband became bad and wants to divorce her. The comments are about Pandian marrying Karthika, since Vanathi will marry the doctor. Ennathan nadakudhu? IDK, but I found the actress dressing young or looking young in the recent scenes. (Could be makeup or whatever. Or that I'm seeing her after a long time, so it felt different)

On the other hand, Nadesan wants to marry his ex, i.e., Vanathi's periamma. Ore kolumpam aa irruku. From Cheranu ku Karthika than best pair to Pandi ku Karthika than jodi. But hey, on a positive note, if Karthika marries into the AT family, then they can get that land around the house to extend the house. 4 brothers, plus Appa wants to marry; not enough rooms. Chitti won't agree to give her portion to extend the house unless it is for Karthika's sake. So, for that dilapidated house, this seems like a good idea to repair it.

Pandian Stores 2 - Sollurthuku onnum ille. When is it ending?

Hating the marriage track on Ayyanar Thunai. They will borrow money for a lavish marriage but cannot get the house repaired? Priorities are all in the wrong place for the writer. Karthika's storyline is even worse. She is the actual victim in this whole marry-go-round and the marriage still isn't over. She asked the absolute right questions today. She should simply walk away from this circus and never look back. Cheran is a good for nothing spineless man who could not take a stand when it mattered. He wants Cholan to speak the truth but has built a marriage on an absolute lie. Double standards anyone? For me, he lost a lot of his dignity ever since this whole marriage track crept in. And talk about the lack of sensitivity - girls claiming they are pregnant before marriage just to stop a marriage? Countless women go through so much trauma because of such problems. And what about the sad state that they have forced their own parents in? Does the writer think that such marriages happen with an iota of respect in the family? Shows a lot of character - a partner who lies to their own family before marriage - what will they do after the marriage? That tendency will never go away. The engaged couple is cringe pro max and the others are plain dumb at the moment. And yeah, still no marriage in sight. Sigh. Giving up for a few days.

Oh come on, what the hell is this track? Why is Cheran standing like a statue? Is this another dream of Karthika?

This wedding is happening only because Chanda said she was pregnant. Otherwise, Cheran would have been quiet and crying in a corner when they get Chanda married to her uncle, like he was when they got Karthika married. Why can't he do something?

So far, only Pandian seems sensible. Hope they do not butcher his character....

And I'm fed up with this wedding track. Either finish the damn wedding or break it off.... Simply wasting time.
