Wouldn't surprise me that Sid's mom is still alive but presumed dead in some asylum or hospital knocked out or something. Tulsi will not only find Mihir but her real Samdhan too to ultimately save Samaira from the shadow of the evil saas lurking over her. The woman turns up alive and the driver who is blackmailing Tripti is the only one who knows the truth.
