I mean talking from personal experience when my cousin was getting married, my mom was adamant that I get my hair done. I have very fine, sleek black hair. Nothing lasts in it. It curls and becomes waves naturally from the bottom, but nothing stays in it. But because she forced me I went and got it styled. They spent like 2 hours on my hair, pressing it out, hair spraying it to death, putting clips and pins everywhere and about 2 hours later because of the humidity and my hair's stubbornness, everything slid right now and my hair went back to its normal style. But I did it. And I wasn't even the one getting married.

It could be the same on ITV. I'm guessing a lot of girls do it even if they don't want to.

No I get what you mean about girls having to dress up for wedding related ceremonies. I just thought her lehenga could be simpler and keeping her character in mind. They went with an actual heavy lehenga which a person like Saumya wouldn't wear. Maybe it will make sense in the actual epis vs the BTS.

Her makeup is still very light which I appreciate. Still no heavy eye makeup. Her bare eyes I feel really add to the depth of her character. Also jewelry seems minimal.

Oh yeah he's crushing on his Junior for sure but he's supposed to be the perceptive one right? How's he letting juniors crush slide so easily lol.

Yeah I noticed that. But given everything else went along with her character, I assumed it was either ITV being ITV or her family or maybe she herself choosing it or maybe it coming from the kabhi-ML-naa-ban-paoge dulha's family.

Haan but Gali ki Ladkiyon ka he doesn't care. Junior is special. Does he not care that he may break her heart if she keep on getting FEELS coz of him...baatein toh bahut badi badi karta hai ki akela hoon, akela rahoonga types but junior se ek pal juda nai ho pata.

Jeers din charya- wake up, drink coffee, provide ogling material to junior by working out shirtless, spend some time outside cleaning up baby and doing tashanbaji with Pitaji, come back and solve Juniors problems and giver her a pep talk, make bedroom eyes at her and then yay it's time for bed!

Problem with the show is precisely this- underdeveloped and irredeemable side characters. They should have invested in better side artists/ stories. So something could happen in parallel when the leads are not in focus.

Poore Saxena house namoone ki tarah line se aa jaate hain one goal only on mind- to berate Jeet. They should have shown unki koi story arc. Some fun banter/ their own light moments. Even their Rakhi celebration was all about Jeet.

All light/ serious/ comedy/ action/ romance- all expectations are from the leads. What is the point of having this useless battalion of side characters then?

On a side note- is Ishan A Punjabi? I think being North Indian helps showcase Jeet so much better. The nuances that he brings in while speaking these Thet UP dialogues. I really appreciate that. It seems effortless. And he almost sounds native.
