Raunak looks serious.

Robbie hesitates.

He remembers the old file.

This is the first time Robbie hides something from Raunak.

Raunak notices the hesitation.

Raunak nods.

Devika enters Purshotam's study.

PURSHOTAM

Purshotam looks at her.

Devika notices the old file.

I've known Robbie my entire life.

DUSHANT

RAUNAK

Dushant finally looks at him.

Raunak is shocked.

Kasturi is having dinner with her family.

Tannu notices she's quiet.

KASTURI

Kasturi remembers the tension between Purshotam and Dushant.

KASTURI

There was something strange today.

What happened?

KASTURI

I don't know. But it felt like two families were carrying an old problem.

Bauji becomes thoughtful.

You lied to me this morning.

Robbie becomes defensive.

ROBBIE

I didn't lie.

RAUNAK

Then tell me what's in that drawer.

Silence.

Robbie doesn't answer.

Raunak walks closer.

RAUNAK

For the first time in our lives, you're hiding something from me.

Robbie looks hurt.

ROBBIE

Because I don't know the whole truth either.

Raunak stops.

SCENE 11 - ROBBIE'S ROOM - LATE NIGHT

Robbie calls his father.

ROBBIE

Dad, I need answers.

Purshotam is silent on the other end.

ROBBIE

What happened between you and Dushant Uncle?

Purshotam closes his eyes.

PURSHOTAM

Don't ask questions you may regret knowing the answers to.

ROBBIE

I'm already involved.

PURSHOTAM

No.

A pause.

PURSHOTAM

You're not involved.

ROBBIE

Then why does it feel like everyone is hiding something from me?

Purshotam disconnects the call.

Robbie stares at the phone.

Raunak sits with Dushant.

Raunak becomes angry.

Purshotam opens the locked drawer.

Inside is an old photograph.

It shows Purshotam and Dushant standing together years ago, smiling.

Behind the photograph is a handwritten note.

Purshotam reads it.

His eyes fill with regret.

I never wanted it to come to this.

Devika appears at the doorway.

DEVIKA

Purshotam looks at her.

Robbie senses the distance.

ROBBIE

Are we okay?

Raunak looks at him.

RAUNAK

I don't know.

Robbie is hurt.

Kasturi watches them from a distance.

She realizes something is seriously wrong.

Kasturi approaches Robbie.

Robbie looks toward Raunak.

Robbie gives a bitter smile.

Raunak stands alone in the corridor.

His phone receives an anonymous message:

"Ask your father what really happened between him and Purshotam Sabharwal."

Raunak stares at the message.

CUT TO:

Robbie's cabin.

The old agreement lies on his desk.

One line is highlighted:

"In the event of a breach, ownership rights will transfer to-"

The rest of the sentence is covered by Robbie's hand.

Robbie slowly moves his hand away.

His eyes widen.
