If Dr was smart he would have filed case, but instead he just wants to kick the abuser out or move away from him. It's early. Give him time. He needs to process what happened and then maybe he'll take action.

One thing is - it finally makes sense why Aman Verma took this role. I was thinking it would be a small role - once Roop's reality came out, he would be arrested and taken away. But asli drama toh ab shuru hoga. All of them still living under one roof, but now everyone knows about Roop's reality and Saumya can finally breathe freely with 2 green flag men playing her friend, protector, and love and 2 men at home who will beat anyone up who even dares look at Saumya the wrong way. Bas dono ladies mein thodi sense aa jaye toh baat hi kya hai.

I sincerely hope they never turn Hridhan negative. The amount of love and care he has in his heart for Saumya - they better not go that Mannat show way. From the videos Colors posts on FB, it's obvious bhai turned against bhai for the girl. Not here. Please CVs not here. Bahut saalon baad I've started watching a daily...don't screw it up.

Man the acting in today's episode. This is what happens when you have good actors with a good script with properly written characters. I don't cry in TV shows. Haven't since probably Hum Paanch days. I shed a few tears every time Sarabhai ended or when shows like FIR or Maddam Sir ended, but not in actual daily dramas. They are saas bahu crap. But Mr. Indraneel's breakdown outside the house....sheeeeeeet. And then the convo between Hridhan and Daadi.

Oh and sasur went and got damad released...and damad knew. Just seeing sasur's face and body language, he knew. Kya sasur damad honge yeh. Ek pal mein ladai doosri pal mein pyaar. And even here damadji couldn't help but throw a quip - kaha tha naa jisne undar dala hai wohi bahar nikalega. Aww but the next minute he gives life lessons to sasurji.

Ek very serious question - apun ko aaj tak ek dhang ka ladka nahi mila aur iss Saumya ko do do heere kahan se mil gaye?

Yeh dono junior senior aankhon hi aankhon mein kitni baatein kar lete hain?

Bold: Sasur-damad The preceding episodes did foreshadow this so I wasn't surprised, but I have loved the push and pull between Anoop and Jeet so far (except when Anoop was just straight up being nasty to Jeet for being illegitimate child. Abe uski kya galti hai isme?). Bas ab Doctor ji ko kaho damadji ki marham patti kar de. Itna dhulvaya hai bechare ko.

Green: Dhang ke ladke fiction mein hi milte hai. Isiliye toh baar baar aajate hain hum ITV se trauma khane. Pehle dhang ke ladke do, phir reality check do unhi characters ko bigaad ke.

@ Green: I wish...kaash. I would rather they end the show then go the dumb route of making ache khase characters negative just for the sake of making the show run. They shouldn't extend this show for no reason. CVs and SP need to understand why people are liking the show and not ruin it just for the sake of continuing to keep viewers engaged. Waise I doubt this show has as much TRP on air as it has viewership online.

@ Red: Seriously. I mean I understood her not wanting to say anything to Dr but now it's too much. Ek taraf dhal bana chahti hai aur doosri taraf abuser ke saath bhi rehna chahti hai?

I haven't watched a good TV show since like Rishton Ka Chakravyuh in 2014 and then later, a few years after it ended I watched Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. I did watch a few epis here and there of other shows - typically Sab so I know exactly what you mean. Dr. Dhruv was another well-written character - at least from the first like 5 or 6 epis I watched before I stopped.

Yehi problem hai meri. I lose interest quickly. Iss case mein ulta ho gaya. I got interested because of that park scene and then I was thinking of watching on and off, but obviously woh nahi huya.

Mataji wants beti to get married and if they suddenly leave home then Mr. Abuser will claim whatever he wants and make beti unmarriageable material because after all a female is only a female once they get married. Else they are just a boj.

I wish I had some superpowers. I would use them all on mataji and give her the proper Shreya treatment. Women like mataji and taiji and men like tauji are why I would much rather be alone. Warna ek do khoon ho jayenge mere haat se.

So true! But what irks me even more is Saumya is not any older than 25 (isn't she 21 or something? I might be getting this wrong) which means she grew up and went through everything in the last decade if the flashbacks are any indication. Madhu's not a parent who brought up a child in the 90s/early 2000s or earlier when this beti-bojh-izzat were the bane of every woman's existence. Toh itni regressive kyun hai yeh? My parents/relatives are far older than Saumya's and they are far more progressive than this despite growing up and living in rural India.

Wahan bhi nahi lenge. Aise mataji ke saath ek hi remedy kam aayegi. If everyone in the family leaves her behind. Oh kaash aisa ho. Dr, Saumya, and Krish move upstairs with Jeet (and then later they move out) and mataji can stay with abuser and his thakeli wife.
