What I like the most: the story is not as gripping as the one in Awarapan but Emraan's performance is so top notch that one just can enjoy the movie because of his performance

sorry, Taran Adarsh (actually, no sorry), I don't agree to your kind of enumeration... I don't want Awarapan 2 get mentioned in the same line as government-supported movies like Dhurandhar and Border 2 or/and cheap (copied) sequals as WTTJ and the - to me - contentwise - questionable D4... and yes, the exhibitors may be happy... but it's the audience than counts... and Awarapan 2 is Emraan's succes (like Dhurandhar had been Ranveer's succes - performancewise)... both movies wouldn't have been such a success -storywise - without exactly those lead actors (I'm quite sure of that).
