Was a stupid idea to release the trailer so early in the morning... it was just past midnight here in Germany when the trailer appeared on YouTube, so I could post it... but even in US, it wasn't a good time as people still were at work... not really the 'auspicious' time what get chosen, I feel.

You don’t need to meet these characters to know how they would have been @Briaahna.I just want to share with you my perspective.
Since childhood I have read many versions of Ramayan and Mahabharat. When you read these books, you create a mental image of their appearance, personality and presence. So now if it is being adapted into visual format, you’re bound to have certain expectations from the actors and how the character is being portrayed.
Sita has a certain innocence and gentleness and Sai somehow has not been able to capture it IMO.Also her voice is a big issue in that regards.I don’t know how to go back and find old posts, otherwise I would have shown you how much I was looking forward to Sai as Sita. But now I have a feeling when I watch the movie her casting is going to sting me.(though I really hope am proven wrong)
Just looking at a l l the artificially created environments, I wonder how the actors even were able to gain a feeling for their expressions in a way how it would have been in a natural environment... I myself hardly could feel a connection to what I saw on screen... I still hope that it will be otherwise with the film and its narration.

I have seen Dipika Chikaliya as Sita and Arun Govil as Ram. I have also seen Debina and Madirakshi Mundle, if an actress in TV with limited budget and second hand jewellery and costumes can have a aura and presence of Sita. Then with 4000 crore budget the expectations from a Sita would have been at the very least that she stands out from the sisters and maid who walk along with her.
Even Kriti Sanon looked better in the trash Adipurush
If she looks just as ordinary as the extras casted as maids and helpers around her then she is no Sita. Ranbir I can understand after Animal he was the only current actor to bring opening numbers in North India (Dhurandhar hadn't released then) but why Sai Pallavi, why couldn't it be a newcomer who could act and is drop dead gorgeous, even Keerthi Suresh could have been roped in
Bang on ! No offense to her or any community here but she gives me the vibe of those LTTE terrorists .
Aise bhi, 2 people must look good standing next to each other ..looks can be subjective but I dont see any match here , if it was any other movie it was OK but its Ram & Sita.
Sita was supposed to be this captivating beauty for whom devtas descended on earth to win her swayamvar. For whom ravanas clan was killed ..Jab Shrupnakha looks prettier than Sita, kya hi kahege !
Prabhas was also not fit to play lord rama imo, and I like him a lot as an actor..smriti irani as Sita was also a miscast . Nor cud she carry that role..
