The trailer is not bad at all.But of course not as extraordinary as everyone was expecting.I really had thought Sai would be good as Sita but mann she just dint click.She doesn’t have that divine aura..the weakest amongst them all.Yash was good but his accent is surely going to be a problem..why din’t they dub?

Others were all okay.I loveddd the background score.

Ranbir was the weakest link. The fact that he looks worse clean shaven didn’t help. Is it just me or did he look like Sunjay Dutt in some segments with his hair/wig loose?

@ Bold: Yes! And the CGI does not make him look younger by any means than Lara Dutta. He's playing Ram and looks older than Kaikeyi in that scene.

A good trailer. They definitely kept the real Ramayan here (unlike another movie that shall remain unnamed), but it doesn't hit the right chords like the TV shows have (both the original and the recent one that Sony had). Sai and Ranbir are both weak here. Yash hits perfectly as Ravana and the little bit we get to see of the other actors hit perfectly as well.

Interesting that they didn't show Sunny paji as Hanuman at all in this trailer.

This looks like (Ayan Mukherjee + Bhansali) drama than the Ramayana that touches your soul.

I am just sad to see this.

negative characters always get noticed..that is always an edge there..remember Alauddin Khilji? so thats not surprising..it was meant to be this way

not sure what I liked. definitely not Yash's parts. the beginning dark theme reminded me of adipurush. thankfully rest of the trailer did not turn out like that. shurpanakha, Dasharath, lakshman, Kaikaeyi the supporting cast acting is better compared to main cast. Ranbir's dialogue delivery could be way better. Sai pallavi acting is okay. maybe Ram and Sita are supposed to be calm so their acting seems a bit dull.

pushpak rath look and sound look very realistic. great CGI. bgm is good.

problem is with his dialogue delivery. looks bad. maybe he got confused how he should approach with dialogues as Ram is supposed to be calm. hopefully the movie works at bo. looks very cinematic. the supporting cast will steal the show.

watched 2nd time. Yash's dialogue delivery was bad as well. but movie will work at BO. Ramayana is not only about Ram and Sita, the supporting cast play a major role. Ranbir and Sai were not atrocious. kaam chal jayga. the cinematography, CGI and everything look great. I liked the trailer

Ram was a teen/early 20s in the events shown in the trailer, rk does not look anywhere near that age, he is looking too old to play ram. The makeup and wig they have put on him also don't look good. And rk's dialogue delivery is monotone and he has one expression throughout, I see ranbir not ram. Ram needs to have more emotion in his face and voice. I understand ram is supposed to be calm and serene, but more emotion is needed to connect with the performance.

Sai is also a misfit for me, visually she is not working for me as sita, her dialogue delivery is okay. I just feel that ram and sita need more aura, we should see them and feel 'wow', but thats not happening here.

Yash as raavan, he made an impact, i feel visually yash fits raavan and he is emoting the dominance and power of raavan. His dialogue delivery is okay

Was expecting a different bgm, but its the same as the teaser, wondering when are we going to hear something different as they keep mentioning ar rahman and hans zimmer, but they haven't really shown us anything new in the music.

The Jatayu vfx looks good. But still, there are issues with vfx, there are many shots where you can tell its vfx/cgi, the whole forrest is complete vfx and it shows, which is very distracting. They should have gone for real locations and added bits of vfx to it.
