The twitter influencers are being so defensive and giving off such negative vibes. It is as though no other film or star gets bashed.Getting over protective, makes the product look worse. Had they started attacking the film left and right, public would have started wondering if they were paid.

This is only for a trailer. SIGH.

This looks …flat

The vfx looks like it lacks depth and definition/shadowing …it makes it look very tv serial type with differing lighting schemes for each shot ….like it does not look like one movie just random shots …

Ranbir and yash look like they are playing bunny and rocky bhai in dhotis….yash especially literally looks like he’s doing the rocky bhai shtick from kgf again and ranbir looks flat not “serene” like Sri ram is supposed to look…those shots of ranbir without the mukut and with the mullet hair dont work …if they are trying to pass him off as a fresh 18 year old its not working …

The dialogue delivery for everyone even the side chars sounds very one note….

Surprisingly didn’t like sai pallavi here either…i was rooting for her and usually think she does a great job but somethings amiss …her styling is off though she does bring the kind of peace you would associate with sita ma.

The music is good but I think ajay atul did a better job in adipurush with their work ….and I didn’t expect to ever say ajay atul did better than rahman and Zimmer together 😭

meh

I thought the trailer looked really artificial and not up to the mark.

Yash looks good but I am not sure about his voice because it doesn't have the base that I expected Ravan to have.

Sai Pallavi I thought looked the best out of the trailer.

Ranbir just looks really bad and his dailogue delivery is really bad. He looks and feels really stiff. I didn't want to make any assumptions about Ranbir when the teaser came out because I wanted to hear him speak but he doesn't sound good at all.

The Vfx just looks really flat and I wish they had gone with a different color palette for the Ravan sequences at least to make it feel different but it is the same throughout, minus the opening sequence of the trailer.

The best part of the trailer for me was King Dasaratha, followed by Ravana followed by Lakshmana.

Portrayals of Rama and Sita by Ranbir and Sai were extremely disappointing. Ranbir's dialogue delivery, his expressions, his mannerisms falls utterly flat here. IMO, the casting choice for Rama missed the mark. I don't think Ranbir suits the role.

I adore Sai Pallavi but she is the wrong choice for Sita here. I can't place my finger, but something seems amiss. And what's with that hair styling?

Compared to Adipurush though, this one seems better and watchable atleast.

I really really wanted to like this , considering this is Ramayana! But it’s a no for me , I am going to wait and see how the word of the mouth is for the movie after release and see if I want to watch it !

Indian filmmakers should realise that purely relying on green screen and vfx will not create an immersive experience …and the visuals will end up looking flat

The trick is to use vfx purely as background not foreground…it can enhance the scale of a real set with appropriate detail in the background …but if u place actors in front of the green screen and create the foreground with vfx they look superimposed and fake

Most well done vfx shots in Indian cinema are usually where they shoot the entire thing on real locations - real forests, real palaces, real mountains and purely use vfx for enhancing scale ..that’s when the visuals truly look rich otherwise they end up looking cheap

Vfx only projects shot on green screen entirely (kochadaiyaan for eg) are a baaaad idea
