Holidays are over.....

Everyone is back to school....

Maan is busy with his Tennis practice...

He does everything to avoid academic work...

The school is happy as long as they get their trophies in any way in the inter school meets, and there is always more than one from Maan's side....

Annie on the other hand is very studious, she is more interested in her science projects and other things...

Geet is also very intellectual and likes to be in the top academic wise... it comes naturally for her without much efforts...

Ranno has to help Arjun and push him to cross the borders....

Maninder always compares the two of them and Arjun hates that....

Dev is a happy go lucky person, he is upto enjoying life rather than strive for excellence like Geet or even Maan in that matter, Maan likes losing when it comes to his Tennis....

Dev is popular among everyone, specially girls, he has this magical charm that attract girls.... he is the most wanted munda in their batch.....

Dev has this attitude of being special and is not easily available for friendship...

The girls have to earn his friendship with all kinds of services including his academic work....

The one who is exempted from it is obviously our Geet, she has the privilege of being his companion all the time, everywhere, whether its the class, tennis court or at home.....

Actually Geet is a big introvert and Dev is the one who constantly pulls her into his group...

Even then Geet likes to be the passive one, not wanting to involve in any kind of conversations, not even with Dev, when they are in a group....

She is only comfortable talking to him only when they are alone, otherwise she only gives single syllable replies to Dev's questions.....

What do you want Geet?

no reply..... Samosa ?

nods her head....

then Vada pav?

again nodding her head, this time faster....

dahi puri?

yes comes the answer with a cute smile....

Dev will keep the questions coming infinitely just to see her smiles.....

Girls try to befriend Geet to get close to Dev but then too she is very choosy, she is happy to be in Dev's company with whom she has made friendship in Hoshiarpur itself from that childhood circle.....

Other than that she only engages in curriculum wise interactions with her tutors...

The only way of making her excited about any kind of conversations is by asking her doubts or seeking her help to understand the lessons....

This is the secret that Dev uses to stay connected with Geet, though there is no need for those, as he is also equally smart, he uses it to talk with Geet....

The real fun is to start an argument about any fact related to their subjects, you have to just pretend to question her perceptions, which are actually correct mostly,......

Then she will argue nonstop until the time you want her to stop, when you finally agree with her and let her have the satisfaction of winning, there is mutual happiness in the end as it is a win win situation on both sides....

Arjun doesn't know this technique and always ends up fighting with Geet only to be branded as the trouble maker by Maninder....

Ranno keeps trying to help Arjun by making him understand the reality of how to win over Geet's heart like Dev, but Arjun is too proud to let his little sister win even a useless argument.... thats how sibling relationships work, haina?

But the love for each other only keeps growing with every fight, haina?

The same goes with Maan and Annie, and the only difference is they have a love hate relationship as they are polar opposite twins... there is no age gap to add that extra pinch of affection atlast.....

Sheetal had to write to the school to put them in different classes just to avoid hearing only complaints from both sides during their weekend telephone conversations....

Moreover as they are into the teen age, Maan doesn't want his twin sister's presence to make his social life with the opposite gender awkward in class.....

He is the class Romeo and he has many female tennis fans too.... as you know he is the inter-school Tennis Champion this year.... he has beaten even the seniors....

School life goes on with a lot of fun for all of them like this....

The following Holidays are spend without much interactions between them as they only get to have a couple of days together when they are at Hoshiarpur festival as usual....

Geet spends the whole time with Annie, her bestie ...

The two have been waiting to meet and Annie had a lot of stories to share with Geet which she couldn't share with anyone else, they neither could have those conversations on the phone.....

Geet is only a listener here also, but their bond is made organically with Annie doing most of the talking, yet it doesn't leave Geet behind for Annie too knows how to get Geet speaking like Dev....

As much as their friendship is so special, it doesn't work when it comes to Geet's personal core, which she guards inside an iron chest where only she has the access, its closed even for Ranno, Darji or even Dadi & Dadaji with whom Geet spends most of her time.....
