What I feel happens is-

RB mu S thinking she is bringing 2 rings for him and Appu. (Even Mohit communicates to him the same). He tells M. M brings shagun and reassures him good things are happening.. but S announces RB and Ira engagement, insults Appu's divorced status.. maybe even suggests Mohit as a divorcee suits Appu more than RB. Result- M slaps S.. some more argument ensues.. and families are at war.. maybe even C catches Aaru hiding V's watch somewhere and tells S.
