Anyone watched Christopher Nolan's Odyssey??

Yes...FDFS...going back this weekend again...

This was my first review of the movie...posted in the recently watched movies thread...though I have so much more to say now that its been more than a week I watched the movie..

-Watched The Odyssey. An absolute epic!

What impressed me most was how Nolan refused to follow the familiar blueprint that most mythology or period films rely on.....Instead, he dared to carve out his own approach, redefining how these ancient epics can be brought to the screen....

Rather than simply recreating Homer's vision, he used The Odyssey as source material, reimagining it for contemporary audiences while preserving its timeless spirit....The result is a fresh cinematic experience that offers a new way to experience these timeless stories....

I'm still reeling from it almost 24 hours later, and I keep finding new things to admire....To me, that's what great cinema is all about.... It doesn't end when the credits roll....It stays with you, inviting you back into the world the director has created, revealing something new with every thought and every revisit....

This is the better version of that. Best part is when the brother shows up

I have seen The Odyssey twice already and I will be seeing it a third time probably tomorrow.

It is absolutely spectacular.

Movies like these don't come too often and they deserve to be celebrated on the biggest screen possible.

I actually cried in a Nolan movie, which has never happened before ever.

It is one for the books 😍😍
