Losing interest in Azhagae Azhagu is trivial. I've lost respect for the show creators and actors. In real life, society is suffering from people abusing their authority and power. And they show their main lead doing the same. Later, they will show him changing for the better, and we all are supposed to root for Suresh-Mathi's "love story." smiley35

The actors see the "bigger picture" of bad changing to good but forget the influence of the bad in real life. Already, that MIL character is bad; now the serial hero is worse than her. Well, money speaks, so they don't care what is being portrayed and probably justify their consciences, thinking the characters will repent and change in the future anyway. Maybe they feel proud thinking they are being progressive in showing what happens in real life. It is appalling and uncomfortable to even watch such promos or scenes.

At least we have the sense not to watch garbage, but these shows have enough target audience to run for many episodes. smiley7smiley6

Well, the audience thinks differently. Apparently, Mathi slapping Suresh back is such a huge hit. Everyone is praising the show and the actors. IG has multiple reels on this scene.

I don't know; I wish no one slapped anyone. I wish Mathi was not forced to marry a cop who takes bribes, forces her to perform her wifey duties, slaps her, blames her, tells others everything that's happening (or not happening) in their marriage, and, in general, is a douchebag. smiley6
