3 things I want from Tripti's entry

Her character shouldn't be toned down and she should be kept same

She needs a good dialogue writer

She needs a good wardrobe

Saahil married Ganga then had an affair with his PA Trupti. Saahil and Ganga got divorced when she eventually found out about the affair and later on Saahil married Trupti.

Gayatri was so evil and awful that she didn’t let Ganga get custody or even visitation rights to her sons - Nakul and Lakshya. In that season Nakul was born to Gautam and Damini too along with his twin Mayank. However since Ganga had had a miscarriage saving Damini, Damini voluntarily gave away one of her sons to Ganga and Saahil. They formally and legally adopted Nakul as the doctor had also been of the opinion that Ganga’s uterus had been so badly damaged by the fall that killed her child she may never conceive again. Ganga however miraculously got pregnant again with Lakshya but it was because her pregnancy was complicated and she had to be careful and avoid any intimacy as it might lead to complications and miscarriage all over again that I think Saahil started drifting away from her and towards Trupti.

Ganga’s sons believed their mom was evil and Trupti was good regardless of however she was. Nakul wouldn’t find out the truth of his actual parentage until Damini tells it to him herself as a means to protect Mayank, the other twin she kept who was mentally unstable and had sexually assaulted KT. Nakul doesn’t exactly like Manthan, Karan’s son because he’s so snooty and nasty but he’s not willing to let Mayank suffer for false accusations behind bars for a crime he never committed regardless of their equations. Damini finds out Nakul is gonna expose Mayank and tells him everything to make him keep mum but Bhoomi exposes the truth regardless because despite herself she loves her brothers Manthan and later Eklavya when she finds out that they had the same dad.

1 thing I want from Trupti - to actually be a formidable vamp on the show we can take seriously rather than the likes of Noina and later Rio and even Parth.

No her marriage was never arranged with Karan but he was considered as a prospective groom for her and since he was seen as Saahil’s friend who had also developed a good rapport with Ganga, I think it was Tulsi and Baa who thought Karan would be a good match for her.

Tulsi talked with Karan and asked him to take his time to make sure he was ready if he accepted to the proposal. Karan knew by then that Saahil was in love with Ganga as was she, but that neither was willing to take the initiative to make their relationship official and confess their feelings to each other.

Karan basically blackmails them to confess to each other else he would tell Tulsi he will marry Ganga and actually go through with it too Ganga wasn’t as sure if he was bluffing or not but Saahil felt threatened because he knew Karan to be a man of his word especially when it came to deadlines and challenges. That’s how they confessed.

Karan later gets Tulsi to understand that though these 2 have been related but Ganga has never consummated her marriage with Gautam therefore the past shouldn’t be held against her and it mustn’t be allowed to spoil more lives. Gautam had already erred when he didn’t come clean about being in love with Teesha when he had the chance and Ganga unfortunately became a victim of his actions. Now if the family decides to get Saahil married to another girl just because they’re afraid of the society, they’ll make sure that there’s another Ganga in their home all over again and this time they’ll do so knowingly. He made Tulsi ponder wouldn’t it be better to bring two people who love each other together rather than ruin more lives. Ganga may not be their responsibility or even family if they so wish from this point on, but would they be able to see Saahil miserable? He may marry someone else out of pressure or to please his family but would it be fair to that girl if Saahil was in love with Ganga and not her. Wouldn’t it be repeating history and now making sure that Saahil was at least unhappy even if he stayed loyal to his wife.

Tulsi had no way to counter Karan and so she decided to make the family agree to the match and got these two married.

Sigh, I miss the days when even Tulsi was not seen as so high and mighty always. Karan was probably the only one who was able to get through to her in the way she can with everyone else. Now it’s like Tulsi can do and never be wrong. Even now I find this absurd idea of Nakul Vaishnavi as a forced narrative. In what world will this match be supported even irl? Vaishnavi is innocent regarding what happened to her but this show tries to keep on justifying this wife swap between brothers as if it’s the most normal and natural thing in the world.
