I genuinely hope Spain learns from England’s mistake and they don’t pull that nonsense as well. I’m still trying to understand what possessed Tuchel that made him think defending for 30 plus minutes was a good idea. I’m not a professional footballer or coach but the fact that Argentina will score after that was so evident even to me. His guys were doing great it’s not like they were getting outplayed so why did he do what he did?? AM BAFFLED.

This is what I call a thoroughly enjoyable game. First half both team went neck to neck . Second half when England scored the goal they thought they could easily win the game if only they kill enough time to end the game . But Argentina was constantly trying to break open . Before Fernandez scored , Arg had already tried so many shots which means their goals were results of relentless effort .

Honestly, after today's match I believe they'll win in the final against Spain. They're playing amazing football.

They might as well tell Argentina players we have given up so you can just attack and scored now. What heck was that?? They deserve to lose.

Anyone noticed once England stopped trying/attacking the game went smoothly no more stopping every few minutes?? Either way this is not on Argentina or the referee this was 💯 England mistake. Stupidiest decision I have ever seen a big team pull on a World Cup semifinals.

France and England will but I can't say the same about Argentina. They're up against some formidable opponents in Spain and if they did all this fouling against England I can only imagine what they'll do against Spain. And Spain will attack back equally.
