I find it absolutely hilarious that Tulsi’s first reaction to finding out that Vaishnavi and Nakul are a couple isn’t even being scandalised but simply disappointed that Vaishnavi didn’t let her know that she had a boyfriend.

Woman is so used to this disgusting behaviour in her family where one woman ends up with multiple brothers it doesn’t even shock her anymore. It’s crazy how this sorta thing is being treated like it’s nbd. Honestly, it’s not like they couldn’t have had Nakul fall in love with a different woman and still made sure that it was scandalous without it being Vaishnavi.

Nakul’s girlfriend could have been an older woman - a divorcee or a widow, perhaps even a single mother he met during the time he was in Kutch to turn the haveli into a hotel. She could have been from a different community or maybe even nationality or both. Heck, Nakul could have been the first gay character of the show and had a boyfriend. Nakul could have been shown as asexual and therefore not remotely interested in any relationships. But they would rather repeat the same old story!

I like both actors, but they could have paired them better. Vaishnavi could havebeen accepted as a daughter in Virani household and married off to a decent guy!
