July 3rd Episode
Late review as I held off on watching the episode till I was mentally prepared.
Honestly not sure what I was expecting for Rishita's last episode. I didn't think they would do anything to appreciate her work but the flow of the episode felt off.
Husna is one vile woman. I can no longer call her Phufi anymore. She will literally kill her own flesh and blood for power.
Someone tell me what is the point of Insha? Why is she around? I mean other then creat misunderstanding between MaHer post leap. Poor Tahir who got hurt trying to save her. I wonder if he will be around in 7 years. The mean part of me wants to say no. Mahid needs to pay for the sins of Mr. P.
What a horrible end for Kausar! I'm still hoping the goon burned some random woman so Husna wouldn't go after him. At the characters of Seher and Kausar should be reunited even if it won't be with Mahi and Rishita.
Ohh MaHer! I love their connection, Mahid instantly felt something was off when Seher was unconscious.
Seher's breakdown at finding Kausar's body and how she unconsciously looked at Mahid and kind of moved behind him, hoping what they both knew was wrong. Her emotions felt so genuine; it was like Rishita was saying goodbye to Kausar and the show.
The final MaHer scene didn't seem to have the emotional impact they were hoping for; I think it was either the editing or the camera work.
Seher repeated what she told Mahid during Eid. Her mom was her whole world and no mattered how hard she fought it he became a part of that world.
Her reasoning behind hating him makes no sense. I get we needed a separation but the misunderstanding wasn't necessary. She is grieving obviously but that man literally ran between her and her mother; trying to save them both. It was the one promise Mahid was never going to be able to keep and we saw that hesitation from him when she asked too.
The fact she said she can't trust him but when in trouble it was always Mahid. Again I know she is grieving but the reason for the separation seems so flimsy. Two divorces couldn't keep them apart.
Their final scene of them walking away the opposite of their first meeting when they were walking towards each other; both times in black.
The flashback was so sweet. They were destined for each other even before one of them was born. I loved Gazala's parting words; hope she lives yours and mine dreams. Can you imagine if both of these Mama Bears were alive; they would be a force to reckon with instead both gone too soon leaving unimaginable trauma for their kids.
Final episode with our OG MaHer. I have lots of feelings, may be I'll do a final post about it all.
To our sweet MaHer, we started this journey with Parth and Rishita; they were my pull into this show. I wish we had gotten to see the end of this story with the faces that begun it, with whom we fell in love with.
Alas, the fans voices and feelings did not matter. To those plan to continue watching, I hope the journey treats you better. To those for this is the end, the journey was short but beautiful and rather chaotic. May the gods of television become wiser and we get to see Rishita and Parth end this story.
