Problem with these kind of movies or series is that they show the problem exisiting in our society, but they never show what to do to cure from this situation. They don't educate, so it becomes disappointing to see same things again & again. There was one dibakar banerjee film LSD, on same subject(1 of the stories). Makers should understand this that we know all this, what we need is New Perspective or solution for this heinous problem.

I watched first few minutes and found itboring so turned it off. I didn't knew the entire movie is based onhonor killing. I thought its about a Godman like figure making minorsmurder people. Good that I didn't continue watching it.

You wasn't mistaken as there are more than one subject... the"Godman" part is there, too.

The point is: What is your duty to do in a world were even in the police duty gets corrupted ...and also in the own family where the duty of a father should be to protect his kids...and also a Godman is nothing else than a criminal... there can't be 'easy' solutions...the Mahabharata gives an example which is cited in the movie...and it's what Saif's character shows/decides... what is right? what is wrong? ... what does he see as his duty... at least it is a conscious decision.

What matters to an individual is subjective. I care about IMDB ratings. Box office figures don't matter to me if I enjoyed the movie.

Well, if someone goes with IMDb ratings, then both movies are 'equal' (5,4 and 5,5 out of 10 smiley36)... yet why should t h a t even correspond to the own perception of the movie?
