I really loved Chen Zheyuan's performance. The Eastern Country arc is very engaging.

However, there's a bombing at the orphanage. The hero's hearing is affected, while the heroine has faced eyesight issue. They both return to China and struggle with depression.

From there, the story slows down a bit.

I think the love confession happens around Episodes 17 or18, and they break up in Episode 24 (may be).

Later, they meet again in the Eastern Country.

Just when things finally start getting better, another tragedy strikes, making the hero's condition even worse.

The ending is sad.

Still, the first 12 episodes give me strong Descendants of the Sun vibes.

Episode 5 is especially amazing.

the bomb defusal scene is one of the best parts.

Benjamin is also a fantastic character.

My only issue is that the drama is a bit of a depression trigger for me

@Swathi cuz she is old she's 80s born actress. Oh wait wdym she looks old?? You said it for 2 actresses now I'm overthinking if you mean something else....

For me , a pairing should look equal..one should not look more aged than the other ..for example in poj , zlh and fl looked well ..similarly in rise of ning , both wanyi and renmin were apt ..whereas in splendid matcg chi sha looked more aged than ren min..i dislike such mismatched pairing

People have mixed reviews about Mr. BAD, I did dropped in mid.

The first few episodes are a bit slow.

Things get interesting when the male lead enters the real world and the female lead has to hide him from everyone.

The male lead is actually a character from the novel that the female lead wrote herself, but he's the villain in that novel.

After she gets rejected in a job interview, she casually makes a wish at a wishing fountain for an unforgettable love.

At that moment, the coin she wears as a pendant around her neck falls into the fountain.

Soon after, she encounters the male lead, who appears in the real world wearing ancient costume clothes.

At first, she has no idea who he is, but later she realizes that he's the villain from her own novel who has somehow come to life.

Another funny thing is that whenever the female lead gets into trouble and ask for help in her mind, the male lead suddenly teleports to her side.

He has no idea why this keeps happening, but the female lead eventually realizes it's because of the wish she made.

Later, when the male lead learns the truth, he tries to help the female lead find the "unforgettable love" she wished for.

He even tries to set her up with her boss.

But in the process, he ends up falling in love with her himself.

I think that's what happened.

But honestly, the middle part of the drama is really slow.

I think there's a plot hole! how did Benjamin manage to bring him back all by himself from the kidnappers?

That fight scene also felt incomplete to me.

The hero closes the door and tells Benjamin to leave, but they never really show what happened after that.

BTW, I also really loved the umbrella scene in Episode 2.

@red When did you start watching C dramas? I only started in 2024.

Heyy you seem to read a lot why didn't you join BTRC? We had quite a good time there...

Yeah..they looked good..also him and bailu..they look good everytime together despite being younger than bailu i guess..

Pairing should look fine..age obvious pairing is not for me
