He could have been evil and yet loved Vaishnavi. (Not even saying he should genuinely love Karan Nandani or Samaira, the guy had least interest when Samaira was trying to commit a suicide.) But at least he could have truly loved Vaishnavi.

If they show MR of Vaishnavi (where I think this is heading for) then I will never forget makers for ruining it

Darling this connects to the political landscape of the country. We know what’s happening there and it wouldn’t surprise me if not now then by next year we have ONOE happening for sure. They’re bound to get women’s reservation bill passed in the upcoming monsoon session and you can’t deny that Smriti is one of their most popular and established women leaders, they can’t and won’t sideline her once this happens. We already have a lot of state elections coming up and if ONOE is on the cards, regardless of from when it’s implemented, which maybe from 2029 most likely but even if it’s pushed to 2034, Smriti will need to get back to work if she intends to contest 2029 regardless of ONOE, regardless of the state and seat she contests from. As long as the show is running though she shoots for a limited number of days each month, those still are not worth her political career, that invariably has more weight, influence and dare I say money too.

Not to mention the show is number one due to nostalgia more than anything but the way they’re going they’re left with no storyline to explore. It would be better if Smriti is still interested in keeping her TV career ongoing if she turns producer or even if as an actress makes another show which actually has a better script, storyline and is finite wherein they have a straight and strong storyline for the show from day one to the last episode even before they hit the floor. Ekta launched this season stating it’s finite but it’s being prolonged unnecessarily and the show is now developing multiple spinoffs wherein it makes no head and sense how things are going. For example, 3 bahus of the family are pregnant simultaneously in the spinoff, but we hardly hear a single word about any one of them in the main show, it’s as if they have ceased to exist for the main cast. That doesn’t happen IRL even if circumstances make a family split and live in different places. We don’t see Tulsi call her bahus, send packages of healthy food and snacks, just to inquire about their health, anything.

So don’t need to keep this show going.
