She got Gautam married to Ganga when he was just trying to settle in SN ,she then got Nandini marry to Ansh who has just come in SN and once again she is going to get Vaishnavi marry to Reyansh who has just come, Tulsi didn't knew any of them properly, their intention! The most laughable one is when Reyansh was telling he respects women, and Tulsi believes really? So according to Tulsi the trash talk he did with Nandini isn't character assassination but it was respect to women who is like his mother as her husband has raised her, forget slap Tulsi didn't utter a word then, also when Damini is character assassinating Nandini who herself was is in love with one brother married to another brother and was taking revenge with whole family, Tulsi was listening silently! Why?? When it comes to Nandini's dignity why Tulsi is silent? Is that because she feels guilty killing her r*pist son for Nandini or in her subconscious mind she has that Karan is Mandira's son and she has done huge favor by accepting him which she keeps ranting every now and Then! I see know other reason for her silence for not speaking for Nandini but boldly defending Vaishnavi! Totally disappointed with Tulsi and the writers!!!

This is not Dhritrashtra but Bhism Pitamah mode. The history of Mahabharata hinges on two incidents that occurred due to Bhisma Pitamah to a large extent.

In the first incident, he kidnapped the 3 princesses of Kashi from their Swayamvar - Amba, Ambika and Ambalika - for his younger half-brother Vichitraviraya. We know Amba would later reincarnate as Shikhandi to avenge herself and be the reason why Bhisma Pitamah could get killed.

He would again force Gandhari and her sisters, all of whom were forced to marry a blind Dhritrashtra again owing to Bhisma Pitamah. Gandhari especially was seen as an important bride to have so as to ensure that the lineage would continue considering Vichatraviraya had died without issues and the 3 men considered his sons were born owing to the boon of Ved Vyasa.

In both instances, Bhisma Pitamah believed he was doing the right thing and we all know how that ended up. Yesterday we literally had a figment of Tulsi’s imagination pop up as Savita who justified her actions and decisions as right despite the history and the current circumstances proving otherwise.

Dhritrashtra and Bhisma both were blinded in their own ways. The difference was that Bhisma believed he was right no matter what he did and Dhritrashtra didn’t care about being wrong but did what he wanted to do anyways because he felt like he was owed things as life had been unfair to him as he was born blind and therefore if he couldn’t be the one to get the fruits of the compensation, his children deserved them at least.

Tulsi can be equated to Bhisma Pitamah more than Dhritrashtra because she’s not trying to cash in some kind of victim card here but genuinely believes her decisions are right no matter what and SN can’t run without her much like Bhisma wouldn’t stop believing that Hastinapur needed him always and would keep running thanks to him always.

Tulsi is definitely Dhritarasthra 1st blind folded in love of Ansh now Reyansh,at time of Ansh she tried to over compensate for Ansh as she couldn't raise him, now for Reyansh I'm guilt of killing Ansh and not raising Reyansh, so like Dhritarasthra! her unfulfilled desire and blind love is making her do that! Bheeshma Pitama I would rather say is Karan he so inbound in debt of Tulsi 1st he sacrificed his love, gave Nandini's and his kids time and love/care to Reyansh and Niyati and even agreed to bring them SN knowing how disturbing it would be for Nandini, supported Tulsi for POA, basically he never goes against Tulsi like Bheeshma never went against Dhritarasthra, even during Draupadi chir haran,,Bheeshma was bound by oath Karan is bound/indebt by Tulsi accepting him!

Bhism peetamah was well aware that Dhitarashtra is wrong but would never go against him. Here Karan blindly supports Tulsi believing she can never be wrong.

Unfortunately there is no Vidur in the show

Yeah! Same same but little different, Bidur I would say to some extent it has to be Nandini as she doesn't trust Reyansh and warned Tulsi that Niyati and Reyansh will have Iill feeling for her and Tulsi, now only if she could join the dots and understand the pattern that has been created lime during her time with Karan and Ansh!

I would emphasise Bhism Pitamah again because Dhritrashtra never claimed to have taken any decisions about anything from a place of moral authority and with righteousness, Bhisma Pitamah did, the same as Tulsi. Dhritrashtra was trying to live vicariously through his sons especially Duryodhan as he believed that his sons shall be able to live the life meant for him as they had vision while he didn’t.

Bhisma Pitamah believed he could do no wrong when it came to his lineage and take no decisions that would hurt Hastinapur in the long run. He believed himself to be it’s protector and guardian. Tulsi believes she’s the same when it comes to Shanti Niketan and the Viranis as a family. Dhritrashtra had no such need to prove his decisions were morally right and for the greater good of the nation he was the ruler of.

Just blind love isn’t enough IMO to qualify for the comparison with Dhritrashtra.
