Well ofcourse …it’s a great film…and it talks abt protecting your people and ur country against crime …nothing wrong with that

Why do people use it to justify hating on someone they don’t like? What crime or criminal activity are they fighting against here? He’s a filmmaker who was ranveers good friend 6 months ago…ab suddenly he’s not credible and abusing him has become “fun” and “well deserved” coz he filed a dispute claim ….? Yeh kaha ka sense hai 😂

The only thing I know as a fact definitely isn't in Excel's favour:

1) August 2023 - Ranveer gets presented as the new Don

2) Immediately following the 2023 teaser announcement, the initial blueprint was to kick off pre-production in early 2024. Farhan Akhtar announced the hope to get the film on floors as early as April 2024, which then softly pushed into an August/September 2024...

3) These 2024 timelines completely collapsed because Farhan Akhtar signed on to act in the military-action drama 120 Bahadur. He explicitly clarified to the media that he refused to juggle directing a massive project like Don 3 while physically committing to an demanding acting schedule on another set.

4) This continuous cycle of pushing the dates—from mid-2024 to early 2025, then to September 2025, and finally to January 2026—is precisely why the production team had pre-production expenses piling up, creating the eventual friction with Ranveer Singh.

So, several questions:

1) How long - generally - a leading actor is bound to shoot for a movie whose shooting shedule constantly gets pushed because of the director and sript writer taking other commitments? Legally not longer than a year (even shorter)...

2) What are the different amounts of the pre-production work done = a listing, please, to see how the 45 cr had been payed for pre-production during the 2 and 1/2 years no shooting took place?

3) What had been fixed in the contract from which Ranveer distanced himself?

SRK cancelled his commitment to Don 3 after Farhan wasn't able to bring something on the table both could agree to... however, everytime Excel released a movie Farhan acted in or which got produced by Excel, announcements about Don 3 were made.

Maybe, I'm wrong but, to me, it strongly seems that Fahan does everything to avoid making this movie... like he did the same with the 3-women-project. Since Don 2 (in 2011), he didn't direct any movie anymore but acted in at least 9 movies and produced many more (writing also dialogues for 3 movies).

Now, to show his commitment to filmprojects (others than those he announced as directorial projects), he again brings Sunny (who also was named some time ago instead of finally starting his own shooting of Don 3 with Ranveer - after enough time of pre-production).

And whom does Farhan blame??? First SRK who - allegedly- didn't agree to Farhan's "narrations" (I bet SRK wanted a script - like he had wanted a script from RGV in 2005 for the movie-project The Time Machine which RGV wanted to do with SRK and Red Chillies.). Now it's Ranveer who - allegedly - wanted changes in a script (that probably still didn't exist on paper ready for the shooting).

Not to mention, ranveers goodwill up until Dhurandhar was down in the dumps ….everyone agreed he was an excellent actor but he was heavily critisised and slapped with law suits by the same “conservative” log in farhans insta comment abusers….when he posed for a nude photoshoot

He was made fun of when he wore his “atrangi” clothes….even his bajirao movie was critisised for showing bajirao as a love sick puppy instead of a great warrior from Maratha empire and mudddling facts from history…same during padmaavat prior to its release he was ripped apart for acting with his wife as khilji coz a group thought “oh they are a couple surely they must have romantic scenes together as khilji and padmaavati…” and outraged abt that speculation and banned the film without even watching it 😭

Same people who abused farhan now in insta comments , abused ranveer too…at one point

The flip just because he made 1 movie which supported a conservative ideology….

Tomorrow if he’s back to his original self wearing “girly” clothes …he will be “shred” the same way…

These ain’t supporters of ranveer ….and I ain’t taking them seriously for a minute 😂

Infact I’m more of a supporter of ranveer ….heck I even watched gunday and befikre in the theatre coz I like him as an actor and fully supported his right to wear whatever he wants always ….but this is a disagreement where we don’t know any details….not a moral issue …so no idea why people are making it one …
