Nobody is targetting little Baba either. This is a recent phenomena in Bollywood where everything is becoming more organized and contractual. Producers are not taking Starry tantrums lying down, especially financial losses.

Paresh Rawal recently wanted to walk out of Hera Pheri 3 and offered to return the signing amount plus 15% interest. The film was only in the scripting stage but Akshay threatened to sue him for Crores that he paid in acquiring the rights of the franchise. He was forced to return to the film.

You sign a contract, honor it or pay penalties. This is part of all forms of life, not just Bollywood.

And also have you noticed that both Deepika and Ranveer simply just cannot maintain healthy professional relationships with anyone in the industry? Both of them have a history of getting kicked out of films because of their huge matching egos, unreasonable demands and throwing wild tantrums. No wonder both of them have earned the reputation of being very difficult to work with and rightfully so!

I think both have been extremely professional in the past but I get the feeling they are increasingly buying into their own power couple hype …now I find ranveer slightly better coz I think he’s a brilliant actor and does put in the effort to improve himself in terms of his craft ….he also seems more humble and praises his colleagues whole heartedly (sometimes seem a bit fake but mostly ok)

dp did improve her craft at one point during piku…:but after that I feel like she’s regressed acting wise …she has the same glazed eye or intense left side profile wali acting in all her movies now …she also comes across as too holier than thou and as if she believes she’s above everyone else (not my words, hers from the kwk episode where she genuinely feels she’s the best in the country)….she never openly praises any of her colleagues in roundtables etc ….heck dosent even have the decency to watch their films before a Roundtable with them…..she also seems to believe she can make a career out of talve chaatoing srk …and brushes off her failures like “oh people weren’t ready for this” (chappak or gehraaiyan) …things like this make her seem highly unlikable …like how she completely ignores all critisism dished out to 82e, refuse to improve on the product or pricing claiming “I use it so it must be good na” and lets it sink miserably but oh let’s get srk to promote it that will bring in the sales 😂….compere that to Kriti or Katrina who seem like actual businesswomen who talk to clients and customers and take their feedback and work on it ….there was once an interview that DP did financial times or something purely around her investments and how she invests her money….its the most clueless I’ve seen celeb look since urvashi rautela…..I want to invest in a space research company coz I want to do things I’m proud of ….what do I consider when I think abt investments - oh my gut. what do I bring to the table as an investor beyond being a brand ambassador ? I bring emotion to the table …when people are too concerned abt numbers I’m the one in meetings telling them to think abt emotion 😂😂😂 behen this is not how u interview with the financial times

even ranveer seems to have gotten this habit from her or blaming others for his failures in kwk when he blamed everyone but himself for the failures of circus …he wasn’t like that before he used to own his failures like kill dill and gunday……

Dp also wants to do lesser work in her mom era (good for her) but wants to get paid more somehow for it (why?) …just do not get what the arrogance is about especially when tomorrow let’s say there is a DP centric film…even a 5 cr opening is doubtful

More than them its their grotesque PR, the dirtiest in the business. From having vilified contemporaries to respected directors and producers, from Vanga to Nag Ashwin and now Farhan Akhtar.

Imagine trying to make Farhan Akhtar look like the villian in this like he's some gold-digging nobody trying to cash on Ranveer's newfound fame. Dude has worked with literally every mega star(except Salman), is one of the most respected and non-controversial member of the fraternity and both him and his sister are extremely idealistic to boot(Only ones to openly support Rhea Chakraborty during that ugly witch hunt).

He's invested 45 Cr's in the project, a lot of it an advance from Streaming Giants for the rights to the film, as is the norm nowadays. He has investors to pay back, staff to pay. This is not a small amount to just let it slide. He's rightfully going after the liable party, as we all would have. He doesn't deserve this sort of vilification.

Ikr like farhan is some chindi producer jealous of ranveers success 😂….i mean he’s won a national award as a director and an actor when acting was not even his main profession …..something which even ranveer didn’t manage yet for all his talent and exaggerated claims on his “craft” in his interviews abt locking himself in rooms and going to a “dark place” to ply khilji

Why is Maddock so quiet? All the BW production houses have lost prestige and power. They keep complaining about everything.

The next blockbuster this year,will also be an unexpected one. New shoots have to grow. Birlas have entered the business..Jio made money.. I don't see a revival till 2028 though..

It’s not a woman thing it’s a “can u fill theatres to atleast to some extent” thing…are u working like them thing where they invest monetarily in their films and carry the stakes …..they ask for profit sharing because red chillies and akshays production house share costs for most of their films ….its like someone who worked 15 years as an associate at a law firm complain abt why they don’t get the same deal as a partner at the law firm….if you are not buying in, ur not bringing in clients, ur not bearing the stakes….sit down

You’re predicting May 2028 (Memorial Day again) for more of these people’s drama. Atleast we have a schedule

Ultimately, the bottom line is that only the producer or director has the right to kick an actor out of a movie whenever they wants. but Actor doesn't have the rights to leave the project even if it feels unfair to him making him wait indefinitely.
