But because its ranveer, lets make his life difficult and make a fake example out of him, becuase we know certain actors will still walk out of films as those actors are too powerful, whereas they feel they can bully ranveer. This industry is so corrupt!

Ranveer is not unreasonable, on many films he has gone into profit sharing so the budget if the film doesnt get too high. He even invested his own money into dhurandhar along with aditya dhar. I'm sure ranveer has a strong legal team who are advising him on what to do, they know what they are doing

It is not only about Ranveer. Producers can only bully young actors. They wont dare to go against big male stars like Bhai, Srk etc . Vicky should go demand compensation for wasting his time and energy for Ashwattama and RS should do the same to SLB for Baiju Bawra.

also bad timing for Farhan. Dhurandhar 2 will release on ott in june. more people will be on Ranveer's side. this will badly affect Farhan's reputation instead of Ranveer's. I have always disliked this farhan guy. seems fake with ulterior motives.

Unfortunately, actors can't ask for compensation from directors/producers. So much of ranveers time was wasted when slb decided not to do baiju bawra, and slb had no consequences, anurag kashyap dropped ranveer from bombay velvet even though ranveer had gone into full prep for it. Where was FWICE at that time? Shouldn't they speak up for actors aswell?

This whole industry is about power and influence, farhan is a member of FWICE and so he got his friends at FWICE to blackmail ranveer, farhan doesn't want to go to court because he has no case to fight. Farhan could ask for a more reasonable amount and i'm sure ranveer would agree, but 45 crores is just insane

idk about the ott success. but most people already watched it multiple times in theatre. and we know what a huge success it was. netflix also distorted picture quality.

and I am talking about dhurandhar 2 , which is yet to release on ott in India. hopefully the quality will be better on hotstar.

The bigger point still is that on most occasions actors are thrown out of films without any compensation paid. How come actors's dates, time spent is not taken into consideration then? Did KJO pay compensation to Kartik when he threw him out amidst shooting? Their patch up happened much later.

I never said Salman will work with SLB again. I said Salman most likely covered the damages. Whatever might be the case, the issues were sorted out amicably, whether by financial compensation or future sales of services, unlike this case and its on Singh to sort it out.

Along with professional issues...this is also personal for Farhan, who considered Singh a friend and now feels massively betrayed.

And just because something has been happening for years, doesn't make it right. Farhan is taking a stand and he's in the right. Pay the damages!!

you want someone to pay damages, then put it in the contract! Its as simple as that, you don't put it into the contract then you leave the opportunity for an actor to walk away from the film without paying damages, then that is the producers mistake. Ranveer returned his signing fee, as that is what he contractually had to do, Ranveer has made that very clear, he does not contractually have to pay farhan anything else

You don't think ranveer felt betrayed when slb, a director he did 3 films with, shelved baiju bawra? Ofcourse he felt betrayed, but slb didn't think twice and dropped the film, but at that time people said its slbs decision, why should he do a film with a flop ranveer. So why now is it about friendship? Maybe ranveer felt like don 3 would flop and so he didn't want to do it anymore, that's his decision, the same way a director or producer drops an actor they don't feel will make their film a hit. Or maybe ranveer felt like farhan was just keeping him waiting and wasn't taking his time seriously, ranveer would rather do a film that is on schedule and utilises his time well

and please, when did farhan stand by ranveer? Farhan waited for dhurandhar to release, that is not standing by him, if farhan truly stood by ranveer then he would have already shot for don 3, he would have truly beleived in him, but farhan didn't beleive in ranveer, he kept pushing the shoot date back

It is Aditya dhar who stood by ranveer, he shot not just one, but two films with ranveer, and that too at ranveers lowest phase. Aditya truly beleived in ranveer's talent, he went all out with the production of his film and didn't once doubt ranveer, that is what you call standing by an actor

And Don 3 was announced a whole year before dhurandhar! don 3 was announced in 2023, and dhurandhar was announced in 2024, that shows which director beleived in ranveer more. Aditya dhar managed to film two films with ranveer in that time, and farhan was still undecided when he wanted to start don 3

and by the way, ranveer did agree to pay for some of the damages, even though legally he doesn't have to, but farhan wants him to pay the full 45 crores, that is just unreasonable, farhan is being ridiculous right now, ranveer has agreed to pay for damages but it has to be a feasible amount

Ranveer wants to settle this in court, but it is farhan who doesn't want to take it to court because he knows he won't get the full 45 crores

And Fwice is a private prganisation, they do not have the legal right to ban anyone from working with ranveer, so ranveer can even take FWICE to court for what they are doing, and I hope he does
