Yes, I am aware. I didn’t post the thread in that forum because I’m not the one who has called participants for the banner contests in either of the forums. It was posted by their respective mods. I was merely just passing on the information!

Even if it was posted by other mods, you could have shared it in the Creative Contests thread with a request instead of posting it in an unrelated cricket forum. Normally, whenever there is a banner contest or any forum competition, the announcer or the concerned forum mods are expected to post or request it in the Creative Contests thread so that interested members from across forums can easily notice it and participate.

Anyone can post about contests in the Creative Contest Across IF thread if they are not already mentioned.

We have chat clubs in many forums which are mainly used for chatting about some miscellaneous stuff related to that forum.

A friendly suggestion: For any reason, if we ever have to post comments in an unrelated thread, it is always better to add a small note.
