Seher Hone ko Hai: Episode Discussion thread 1 - Page 115

May 1st Episode

For the first time in over a month, we were left laughing at the end of the Friday episode. Glad we won't be sad all weekend.

It was a good episode. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Gazala's son. It was awesome to see Mahid take a stand for his mother against his family. I wish he wouldn't tell them everything he found out; it gives that time to destroy evidence. Seher even told him that way back after the Adamganj track.

Mahid was fired up with his family but as soon as Seher walked in you see his eyes soften. Yes he tells her to leave but words vs action never say the same thing for these two.

We need more scenes with Seher and Dada Huzur. Bechara Mahid, he had 2 people who were in his team and looks like they've jumped ship. Dada Huzur is definitely Team Dulhan. I want to see their relationship flourish plus he loves she can shut Mahid up and isn't scared of him like all of Lucknow.

What Dada Huzur about Nazima vs. Seher is true. He picked the right person for his grandson. I didn't care for his tone with Dada Huzur in that conversation. He is from a time when men focused on work and not household issues and I think he believed Wasim and Husna when they told him stuff that happened in the house.

The hide and seek game was hilarious. We haven't heard Seher, Seher, Seher so consecutively in a long time.

For a whole half a second, I really really thought Kausar was going to think positive about Mahid. I was so disappointed and yet not surprised. You know early on I had hoped Kausar and Mahid would be a team who would help Seher become a doctor.

The precap looks funny too. Excited for next, hopefully Tahir and Dada Huzur team up and play match maker.

Kauther knowledge about mehid and nazima relationship is already poisoned. If he did something else maybe she would have thought about him deferently.

I agree she is possessive and very protective of Seher and we all understand why.

The Urdu word pronounciation is so wrong for the word masroof, it’s masroof not mashroof.

Saher and Mahid say it all the time, Saher said it right once in the beginning but seems like someone told her to say mashroof instead of masroof

Why Indian serial shows dialogues contain many arabic words ? For example "masroof" in Arabic mean "expenses" . Is is the same thing in Indian lang ?

This show feels like a completey different show after the time slot change no offence. Idk if its the offscreen drama or what but the essence is completely lost. I rather the show went off air in a month or two with a happy ending for MaHer instead of making it worse!

The storyline itself has became boring. Like its always Mahid and Seher being depressed and repeated scenes in the name of parallels all again. This is why i initially I wasn’t willing to be on board with this show like too many negative characters but the leads chemistry made me give it a chance and the story tbh was interesting but then it took a weird turn.

Also makers of this show seem to be more interested and desperate to make this show viral by stupid means like showing brainrot scenes where Mahid cuts the bed in half, Mahid jumping from the terrace with Seher, and now Seher in suitcase what kinda crap are these?!

Alas makers dont trust their own concept and story, and rely on controversies to try to make this show a hit. The show had sooooo much potential with such a beautiful chemistry and now both are ruined! I infact even liked this version more than the OG but lately this is being ruined faster than the OG was

Agreed. I was initially excited for today's episode, haven't watched it but found some clips. It feels very rinse and repeat. We do get a few episodes or few that are brilliant but lately it feels cartoonish. I'm all for comedy and MaHer chaos but it just feels off.

Read somewhere since the engagement will be called off Nazima will cut her wrist. They are going head first into the typical saas bahu tropes.
