I loved Doner too, but after a while I got tired of it and was craving my home food. We also went to this Indian restaurant in Taksim Square. The biryani there is good. That Taksim square is so crowded and basically open and full of people 24/7. It never sleeps

Relatable. We even tried an Indian restaurant on Sultan Ahmed Street as my father didn't like Turkish food. At the end, we were all craving Desi food, however, I found it quite expensive, lol.

Takism Square is just a tourist place but the cafés there were so good. Whenever I stepped outside my home country, I always craved desi food, but that's not the case jab waha hoti hoon 😆

Understandable. I always end up craving Afghan food too at the end as that’s my home food. Yes, that cafes there are kinda good, but I never really got the time to see them more. I was just missing USA a lot and couldn’t wait to be back. Every time I go somewhere, I can’t wait to be back home 😅

Afghan food, wow! It's so common in Toronto too. Even at my grandmother's place here, it's usually ordered. Maybe children here are well acquainted with its mild flavors.

In Pakistan, it's widely popular too everywhere, specifically the Kabuli Pulao and Afghani boti. Afghani Pulao is my favorite also, and I even made it once. 😅
