I understand that Parth didn’t want to involve Tulsi directly because it’s the absolute last resort for him. Basically she’s the nuclear weapon he doesn’t want to unleash smiley36

But there’s Shobha, Gautam, heck Gayatri at home who are all elders and have significantly more life experience than Munni Hrithik combined. Gayatri is Dev’s actual great-grandma! He’s literally her grandson’s son! Why not go to her?!

I personally felt like he could have been shown approaching Gautam. The brothers are not exactly at odds but there’s a rift and I think it would have been amazing to show Parth slowly warming up to Gautam for guidance and support when he’s in a clutch and wants an elder to help him out but he doesn’t want to approach his parents for the same because we sometimes need that.

Nakul on the other hand was shown keen to explore US but we don’t see it happening. He can be shown bonding with Karan over his experiences in the same and learning how he doesn’t need to go to US to succeed. Later on, Karan can be his professional mentor; as Gautam clearly hasn’t got a grip on that aspect.

Eventually, both the elders end up being friends with their nephews; providing paternal guidance, support, advice, help but also having the ability to switch into friend mode since they’re not dads but uncles here. There’s that bit of space where they can be indulgent and relaxed in a way that allows them to bond with the youngsters as Parth and Nakul themselves don’t have to feel like they’ve to be guarded always. Sons have this bit of thing with their dads where they sometimes don’t feel as comfortable as they should be to open up because growing up they see their dads as disciplinarians more often than not which never goes away. An uncle can be a father figure without having that baggage which allows him to be a friend in a way that sometimes fathers can’t be.

The brothers may find their common ground and comfort via bonding with each other’s sons and realise that their differences don’t matter as much as watching their sons being happy and successful does. It can also lay a beautiful foundation for the future of the family wherein the cousins don’t have to carry on with the bitterness of their father’s baggage and history forward.

I don’t understand their promotional strategy at all.

Dev almost slapped Saloni today because she’s not supporting his idea of becoming a Ghar Jamai. Parth stops him in the nick of time.

Parth is confused about whom to approach to solve this crisis because he finally realises that this is beyond him. He rightfully thinks an elder will be helpful here; and then ends up calling Hrithik Munni of all the people.

Honestly!

Of all the elders in the family he goes to these two?!

Rio meets those two when their car breaks down in the middle of some random empty road. He gives them a lift. No one identifies him of those two as neither has seen Ansh’s picture ever probably.

him calling Hritik made no sense because obviously Hritik isn't an elder. he is of same age as Parth and Dev. Parth was the second crush of Hritik's first wife. and he himself was not sure if Hritik is chachu or Bhai..

I am sure he will again be out of Dev Saloni issue. Parth ko akele ki sambhalna hai inko.

The only reason for him calling Hritik was to have a meeting of Hritik and Rio.

I thought they would have Parth and Rio meet but they got Hritik .

Now I want to understand is Eklavya not a Xerox of Ansh in this season? Or are we to assume that Hritik has neither seen Eklavya nor his photo?

I dont think anyone knows about Ansh, after the Karan, Shobha and Gautam generation.

Pari doesn’t seem interested in working at all. She can be shown as someone who is happy being single but she doesn’t have the energy or confidence for it yet. That’s the problem.

A single person can be happy but they’re supposed to be made of sterner stuff than Pari comes across as.

Exactly he created that space between them for a 3rd person to walk in! That’s the crux! Show ke writers - agar khud ki akkal nahi hai toh mere FF se hi ideas utha len.

Marriage itself as a ceremony is not the solution when his blatant disregard for her feelings and his public disrespect towards her including almost choking her is not something can be expected to be forgiven and forgotten. The fact that he caused her to endure humiliation and heartbreak for a second time is a very big deal.

One simply has to recall her absolute devastation when she finds him with Noina to understand how deeply it stung her.

I think that perhaps one of the most exceptionally well written, performed and impactful scenes of the show so far has been the conversation between them in front of the Tulsi plant in the lawn of SN where she says Iss aadhi paagal ko, poora paagal kar diya.

The dialogue is not dramatic and doesn’t use any ott melodramatic language and yet conveys her sheer devastation, anger and pain - aimed at both of them beautifully.

That would be dumb tactic long term, because people will eventually lose interest.

At this point, idk what’s worse. Seeing leads with others and having ema or barely getting any scenes together

@bold - at this point I don’t think even the writers know what they will write about this smiley37

Ok the episode wasn’t as bad as I expected, but it looked like a filler because of the editing. They should’ve put SN’s family scene right after MunRik-Rio scene rather than showing Rio with Niyati right after MunRik. Because they kept showing others for so long especially new characters that viewers haven’t formed connection with yet and then put SN’s scene at the end, so it looked like a filler episode. I am liking that at least the writing for new gen has been better for many episodes now, so it’s easier to watch their scenes. And thank god, they aren’t making Munrik to be the next vridang by keep giving them the same scene of Angad trying to romance/sleep with vrinda over and over. They are giving them different scenes and giving them actually something to do.

This Dev should be in prison. He should be booked for the fraud marriage that he did. He tricked Sonali into marriage for money and is now abusing her. Feeling bad for Sonali
