Even if for a moment we say he doesn't know how evil Ansh was, he can at least figure out through internet that Ansh had married twice while keeping his mother at bay without any legal or even social recognition.

Mihir rarely cared about Mandira but he at least visited them once a while, Ansh didn't even do that, he just sent money and kept telling that he will return while marrying in India. It's clear that Ansh wouldn't have cared to return even if he wasn't killed. So Ansh is the last person Rio should feel about , he should have hated Ansh much more than Karan hated Mandira

Niyati is definitely lying, it's too much of a coincidence that she was hit by a car by the biological half brother of her boyfriend and then loses memory to start feeling he is her husband.

And Karan might be a pawn for their revenge to Rio and Niyati, but Karan has been much more to their family than Ansh. while living a dual life in itself is criminal, but strictly from a family man perspective, he actually gave them the warmth of a family.
