Beautiful songs in this movie

What I remember of the movie is that it ended on a kind of 'cliffhanger' - definitely with the possibility/ intention (?) for a sequal... but I realised that none had been made and looked up the director - from Kerala and the movie with Aamir his directing debut! Sadly he only made one other movie years later...and that was it... strange.

It's strange again that Sarfarosh resurfaced lately with even John Matthew and Aamir on stage at a filmfestival (?)... Does Aamir want to do a sequal n o w (using the flavour of the current time?)... I'm curious.

...Oh, it had been two years ago...
