I think he will just get a stay order or something to be able to bond with his daughter. The kumars may be advised by the court to stay in Mumbai for sometime? In the meantime like everyone suggested here, bonding might happen.

I did not watch the past few episodes, just from the updates..I may be wrong, but DK is reacting a bit similar to Mannat earlier when it comes to Mumbai and Vik. She lashed out when Dua wanted to open restaurant in Mumbai when she grows up. Then when Dua ran away to participate in competition in Mezbaani, she was panicking and fainted few times. Again when she saw Vik at Indore, had panic attack and wanted to leave for Dubai asap. Almost slipped Dua truth when Vik came for Dua after the poster reveal. With DK its happening all together. Neetu is intentionally playing with DK's fear just like Vish did to her in the past.

Earlier Vishaka used to instigate DK saying Dua will leave him for Vik, but he had ARS expose in mind and maybe he didnt take it seriously because its Vishaka. The difference is Neetu's intention towards Vik is right but her way is not. Good thing is she will make DK say the truth himself. Its better to face it, than living in fear.

Dont know if its just me, but the story seem to change since mahasangam. The leap promo was about dawaat-e-chef, now its forgotten.

About Vik... yes he messed up pre leap and he is having his realizations... the CA part hasnt even occurred yet... and he hasn't apologized... for that matter... as of today's episode even Mannat hasnt realized Vik didnt knew about the pregnancy... ye jab vo baith ke sochegi to shayad use bhi realize hoga...

DK is now going overboard and Mannat in order to placate his insecurities is just trying to appease him. Vik has done blunders in the show but off late he has been sane and level headed. Are woh already bill fat Raha hai uspe ki isne Khanna kyun nahi rakha....like you said rightly when Dua entered the competition she entered as Khanna na...yeh Kumar vs Saluja abhi likha gaya hai for the custody battle
