I guess the dad part took her out and because she wasn’t prepared for her anger at Karan to be answered like this. Not to mention that she probably didn’t expect Xerox no 2. Eklavya hasn’t even been mentioned until this week and the show bloody took a 6 years leap! We had no clue if he was even canon until now. He certainly hasn’t even been shown as calling anyone in the family and staying in touch with them.

Gautam Damini officially adopted him and even when Gautam pined for his family he didn’t think of and mention Eklavya. The scene outside court when he first appeared in this season with Tulsi where she asks him about her grandsons is the only time that we ever heard that Gautam has more than one son, but again they changed canon here and made Nakul stay with Gautam Damini unlike S1 where he was adopted by Saahil Ganga. So it felt like this season the twins hadn’t been separated at all, though Mayank is forgotten.

Honestly, it’s so unclear what they pick and choose.

I swear SP should have a separate Wikipedia like page on their site so that their own writers could access it to know the characters of a show especially when reboots and sequels are concerned!

We know they didn’t exactly get along in S1 on and offscreen. Hiten also had his one and only fight on the set with a shouting match with this guy when he twisted Gauri’s arm in the kidnapping scene that injured her irl.
