So how is this confusion not a moral question... her heart wants Vik, her mind refuses.... thats the whole point of her dilemma...

Yes...but a moral person doesnt just think about herself. She thinks about a man who is tied to her kid. Invested his time and energy in them. She need not get back to him. No.

She has to ASK him, with care and concern, what his future is .... why he is wasting his time on them. If he is wasting or not...When will the conversation happen? When Vik says sorry and ask her to come to him? Independent of what life throws at her, how she thinks defines her morality.

There is no dilemma here, She SHOULD ask DK about his future plans. May be she is living with Vik's memories. DK knows it. However, can she assume DK is ok to lead a lonely life with NO memories of his own? She assumes he is a mahaan sanyasi, who can just live for his brother's dauther. Come on. It is NOT moral dilemma, it is minimum responsibility. If she is not doing it, she is not thinking right.

She has moral dilemma with Vik, I agree. I am not mixing those two. I am just saying she cannot compromise on DK and ditch him. I am not saying she will. I am just worried she will, given her monologues and how writers write.

She is not assuming.. its mutually agreed between DK Mannat and Ronnie.

And just for reference Mannat compares DK to Shruti who sacrificed her life for her sisters daughter.

OK i got the answer. So she assumes DK is like shruthi. So she knows Dua is important to DK, as important as she is to shruthi. Ok good. She will not go to vik, neither DK will marry anyone else. just parents to dua. Then it is good. i hope she doesnt fuel her thoughts of going back to Vik on one single sorry.

Shruti never married either... she pretended to be a widow and concocted a dead husband as Mannats father. He was not even a real person. She just used a picture that came with photo frame.

Had Shrutis liver issue not cropped up early on in the story... Mannat would have lived all her life in blissful ignorance that Shruti is her mom.

Hence I said... no one is doodh ka dhula 🤪

And hence my point that intentions behind the lie matters... Shruti was saving Mannat from a creature called ARS 💔
