Even when nandini was in coma karan didn't lose the hope. I think people can love multiple people at once. Karan loved nandini like 100000 level, and he probably loved tanya 10 only.

So many loveless kids we have in world. Not surprising

If tanya karan and ansh nandini married at same time - my theory - that would mean nandini was suffering in the marriage for years. Ugh

Per this season’s canon we have no idea about whether or not Tanya was a mistress. Per S1, their marriage was not legal in a manner of speaking but only Nandini could sue them but she doesn’t.

Gautam would never be so crass as to taunt Karan over this, particularly because he knows Tulsi may not like it and Parth is an innocent regardless of his equation with Karan.

Per this season’s canon they may show Tanya was Karan’s first wife legally and Parth is hers via that marriage, meaning Parth is a legitimate child. Tanya has either been divorced by Karan once her connection with Ansh was out and Karan got the custody of their son or she died giving birth to him.

Poor Hiten because he’s gonna be called Dad by someone who looks so much older than him though they’re close to the same age. Not to mention that Rio may probably be shown like Ranvijay from Animal which means Karan is his Balbir

I think in past I have mentioned this multiple times in forum when KN topic were discussed. Karan was not a kid and he could have actually backed out from marriage with Tanya but he didn't. He could have not slept with Tanya but he did. He regretted consuming his marriage Tanya. I feel he played with Tanya when he was deeply in love with Nandini and just married Tanya for sake of Bhumi and my biggest issue with Karan was he was with Tanya after leap in S1 but never treated her respectfully. He was waiting for Nandini and it was an open secret but he allowed Tanya to be at SN. This was not cheating Nandini emotionally coz he was never emotionally attached with Tanya after leap but he just used Tanya to bring up Bhumi and Manthan and this was more like he took advantage of Tanya. But if I have to look at Karan and Nandini he never cheated her pre leap or post leap.

I agree with you that Bigamy is illegal and his marriage with Tanya is a crime but morally his intentions were never wrong and that is the reason I dont want to label Karan as cheater. Its human nature to seek partnership from opposite gender and after 3 yrs when Nandini didn't show any improvement he kind of moved on. It was not right to expect Karan to Just wait for Nandini throughout his life. Doctor's advised to remove her life support but he was against that idea and he was unable to let go of her. But after yrs he was lonely so he moved on...Though I understand his marriage was illegal but his intentions were never wrong. He was never a cheater so I will not agree that he cheated Nandini in S2 considering Karan's character is same as of S1

When Nandini first found out she was pregnant she asked Tulsi what do I do. Tulsi has no clue what to say and Karam is mum as well. No one except Savita is happy with the news of her pregnancy.

Nandini was even willing to undergo an abortion and it’s only when Karan finds out that her life is at risk because medically she’s not fit enough that he intervenes and stops her. She was at risk of dying and that’s what prompts Karan to step up and say that she can have the child and he will accept that child as his own as it’s her flesh and blood.

Karan himself didn’t just happily accept the child instantly. It took him being scared of losing Nandini to accept her pregnancy. Later when she went into coma, he was avoiding Bhoomi like the plague. It was again him being questioned by Tulsi regarding his own promises to Nandini and the obligation to an innocent child that he finally accepted to father Bhoomi too and spoiled her rotten.

They’re probably gonna show Nandini had the child because she was unable to undergo an abortion owing to the risk of death that no sane and legit doctor was willing to take given it could cost them their career, license and life for good. But she left the child at some orphanage for adoption and somehow Karan was always tracking her. He couldn’t make her change her mind about keeping the child and raising him as ultimately he couldn’t ask her to just move past her trauma like it’s NBD.

Maybe they can show Nandini had postpartum depression by merely being around the child and she got suicidal or something. To make sure Nandini didn’t harm herself or worse, Karan somehow managed to convince everyone that her child had died.

In both scenarios, Karan takes responsibility for the child and decides to raise him as his own as he can’t bring himself to just walk out and abandon a child for no fault of theirs. He has lived through that - Mihir abandoning and rejecting him throughout his childhood, he couldn’t do that to any child even when it was Ansh’s; especially when he carries Nandini’s blood too and is as much a part of her as Samaira and Raunak are.

They would have to shoehorn in how Parth happened here, changing the backstory of Karan and Tanya’s marriage entirely. Probably it maybe shown that Karan married Tanya before Nandini to convince her that he was in love with Tanya so she could marry Ansh as Tulsi wanted. Ansh had tried to convince everyone soon after marriage that Nandini was pregnant; of course she wasn’t. But the news causes one thing to lead to another and Tanya really does get pregnant.

Later it’s revealed that she was hand in glove with Ansh all along to separate Karan and Nandini from day one. Karan divorces her and gets custody of their son or she ends up dying while having Parth. Eventually when Karan marries Nandini, he’s a single dad and she accepts Parth as her own son.

Karan can’t bring himself to abandon a child of Nandini’s when she chose to mother his son born to another woman.

Eventually, he ends up connecting with Niyati who may have been an old friend or classmate or something. Basically someone he felt was safe, genuine and nice enough to raise a child who was someone else’s as their own. And ever since he’s been living a double life, where one side of his family/life has finally caught up with the other. The real fireworks happen when both collide and explode in his face.

Nandini hiding about the kid and karan finding out about it anyway is such a fantastic twist. Please writers copy paste it

About being given importance in this season Pari and her life was given importance, they are giving every child of Mihir/Tulsi their track. Karan Nandani is no exception. In season 1, Ekta had clearly said that Karan is the most important character in this show after Tulsi. Importance was given to Tulsi and Karan as leads with Mihir and Nandani as their partners. It was her decision to make Karan lead for that generation (that was the first generation leap show, hence the concept of declaration etc. was still evolving, hence we didn't get an announcement of new lead after leap like we do get now.)

And about white washing, Ekta has this thing about white washing her males. Gautam was whitewashed after having beaten Karan to unconsciousness, Sahil's cheating was forgotten, So was the case with toxic males like Raman.

She even tried to whitewash Ansh by given that heartfelt dialogue with Tulsi on his death bed for 2 episodes after Tulsi shot him and then by bringing Shradha showing how much of a gentleman he was till he got heartbroken due to Shradhha leaving him

Even with beard I dont think he looks like 26 yr old at all. He actually looks older than Smriti. The worst casting choice/ mismatch is Niyati. In no way does she come across as his mother.

Also, Him calling Hiten "dad" felt really odd and if he actually turns out to be Nandini's son ...I genuinely cant imagine how the onscreen dynamics will work anymore

I am thinking about AS donning fake wig and beard to shoot some scenes to show what happened in the past if they don’t have anything that works with the script, Gauri having a completely different hairstyle in one scene and then the other because her hair was shorter back then and curled.

In present day scenes; he removes the fake wig and beard to play the oldest looking young man on the show while he calls Gauri his Maa, who has her current hairstyle in the scene and looks ready to gag every time she has to be called Maa by Rio The crazy part is the gagging can be an offscreen reflex too for so many reasons that also works well onscreen for obvious reasons
