I haven't posted here for a while... well i'm going to post just a thought going thru my mind.. no offense to anyone of course...n no attacks.. buh all opinions are welcomed

It's great that half the contestants that get opportunities in these singing competitions make it big.. and since they also have acquired so many fans.. im sure its fair in a sense.. buh is it really fair to those that have won?? well we can't stop any1z success of course.. buh did it cross any1z mind.. if so many so many ppl r becomin singers... there will be a time when there will be no value.. from indian idol itself.. the first one about 5 ppl.. r already big.. and same with fg... of course its great buh.. they will continue these shows.. and more and more singers.. its losing its value in my eyes.. there was a time wen there was 1 of a kind legendary singer and every1 cud sit there and specifically count them out.. they left erry1 in awe.. and now... it seems saab hi ache hai.. n don't get me wrong i am not saying they shoudn't recieve this chance buh mayb sony should take a back seat before launching more and more progs yearly like this... or we'll have a bunch of singers who gain fame early and drop instantly... sony seems like they juss provide every1 that push to enter the industry buh they arent building these ppl with a promise that the can get sumwhere in life... im getting annoyed with zillion of these shows.. everythin shud b sweet and simple...😕

more the merrier... juss means the feww who are truely good will only b able to survive .. it juss creates more risk for ppl to fail... better for us we get diversity as the public as for the singers i feel bad for them.. buh i guess it tests their true talent

Spidy agrees 😊, most of the shows are nothing but money minting rackets, get the public hooked and sit back and watch the bank balance grow. Thats the motto of the programme honchos 😊

Spidy says its depends who THEY here are. Its a win-win situation for the contestants and the channel at least. The channel goes on to make its money while the contestants get to stay in public eye even if seasonally😉. The only folks who stand to loose here is the voting public, remember the voting rates come at a premium😊

Ya u r right.FG and II are fairly new shows but we should remember the wonderful winners SRGMP has been spinning out for the last 10 years and despite being wonderful singers they r lost to us except maybe a few who r successful. The biggest example is Arpita who is a SRGMP winner and sang a song for a movie but her career went no where .That shows that to survive in this tough industry these youngsters need to have something else besides a good voice and singing talent which can keep them apart from the crowd.Good singers in India r abundant, good singers with charisma only a few and those r the ones we r going to remember ultimately.

true enough. but most of the time people's choice may not always sustain!. like for instance, qazi tho not a wonderful singer, was very popular with the audience (i plead guilty to wanting him to win too 😳 ) but at the end of day, the sale is all sony and other companies are concerned about. a mediocre singer will not last long enough. so they will have to keep an arijit and a shamit handy to re introduce and make their records sell! cant say i blame them 😕. i guess this is business and nobody is in it for their health!

I guess at a point the law of diminishing marginal utility will kick in and sony will see less and less votes and trp ratings , which will also affect advertising rev, so they should be aware of viewer fatigue and space such programs. Star did the wise thing of pullin out KBC for a while.
