Happy Birthday to our beloved Madhu di (Viswasruti)
India A vs Afghanistan A, 2nd Match, Tri Nation A Series in SL, 2026
Malla and Aish’s pre-leap conversation showed them creating a fake story in front of Vikrant that Malla’s boyfriend abandoned her and the child. Malla also mentioned that the baby was delivered in the UK and that Aish helped arrange the child. In contrast, Dua was born in Dehradun as per the birth certificate. The issue is that, from Vikrant’s point of view till Yuvi’s truth is out Malla went through similar trauma as Mannat. But the show never showed proper flashbacks explaining how Yuvi became so important to him or what exact story Malla told him. The explanation given works emotionally, but the writing has clear gaps. Most of it is based on assumptions rather than what was actually shown. For such a big decision giving DK legal fatherhood and adding his name to the birth certificate the show needed clear justification. Also, if trauma or societal pressure was the reason, it should apply to both characters. Malla is shown as a single mother without needing a father’s identity for Yuvi, while Mannat’s track is made complicated without proper explanation. That’s where the inconsistency lies. Adding DK as the father is not just emotional support; it’s a major legal and identity decision. But the show treated it very casually without showing the full thought process. If societal pressure was the reason, the show should have clearly shown that struggle. Since it didn’t, the decision feels more like a plot device than a natural progression. The problem is not with the characters, but with the writing and execution. Important plots are introduced and then left incomplete. For example, Mannat and Vikrant’s childhood connection was dropped, and Vikrant’s terrace trauma track was removed to make shift in storyline. Even now, the story is shifting in a way that puts responsibility back on Mannat, which again shows inconsistency in writing.. I hope makers address this with sensitivity and sensibly as narrative changes and showing negativity is what they usually focused on. As an audience we know Malla faking it and got rented kid whereas characters doesn’t know anything yet, if custody battle is on card yuvi truth will be out almost at the end…Like this track essence shouldn’t go away with such delays…
Yes agreed that makers should either maintain consistency or they have further plans to address hence deliberate loops holes were left.
But my point is like Kidult's post that such sensitive matters are treated differently as per class basis.
Mannat might had to face lot of situations after reaching Indore hence the plan to become fake husband wife and post Dua's birth extending Dhairya's role as father (& in process DK becoming completely attached to her which is quite natural).
When it comes to Malla, we as audience have been narrated just in bits and pieces via ARS the truth about Yuvi and to Vikrant some other sob story (Malla being dumped by a guy & left pregnant). But those 7 years have never been shown to us that how Malla dealt with the entire unplanned pregnancy (or indeed if she even had to - faking baby bump etc, also if she had to face same societal pressure etc considering ARS obviously wouldn't have allowed her to take a chance albeit people getting to know her truth)
So above factors also need to considered.
For Vikrant both the scenarios might look similar cases but for us audience it isn't.
I agree that these factors can be considered, but my concern is still more about how the story is shown, not what can be assumed. In Mannat’s case, the explanation of societal pressure, trauma, and the need to present a family setup is being built largely on assumptions. The show didn’t clearly depict those situations in detail like what exactly she faced in Indore or what led to making DK the legal father. Because of that, such a big decision feels under explained on screen. At the same time, with Malla, the makers have also not shown those 7 years how she managed the fake pregnancy, societal pressure, or her situation overall. So both tracks actually suffer from lack of proper depiction. The difference is that Malla’s track remains simple single mother narrative for characters while Mannat’s track involves a much bigger legal and emotional shift, which ideally required stronger justification. That’s why, even if Vikrant sees both situations as similar, for the audience they don’t feel the same. One is kept straightforward, while the other is made complex without showing the full journey behind it. So the issue isn’t whether these explanations can fit it’s that the show is leaving too much to interpretation instead of clearly establishing key moments. That’s what creates the inconsistency and confusion.
They might address later on - all the ordeals Mannat went through, Malla & ARS's plan with Yuvi, then difference in both the scenarios being dealt based on class bias etc....
All these sub-plots are connected to each other so the makers should show otherwise it would be difficult for audience to further interpret.
Sensitivity and sensibility from Mannat makers....

why don’t you want villains?
This show was 4 too many. Tolerating a dumb ML is bad enough
Duniya idhar ki udhar ho jaaye, Malla adh nangi hi rahegi.

Mukta will probably say one day that her nanga naach gets them maximum TRP 🙄😏
I dont how malla can selflessly aimlessly live in that mansion without any biological urges nor fulfillment of any type. Even between the leads, who are supposed to be in love, usually the angst is shown to convey the "longing" to be together. That longing makes them do things in haste or uncover things...not sit and dillydally. There should be some urgency on one side or both to uncover things. If they accepted the other is moved on, why waste time again on showing longing looks? How does that serve the purpose of the story. It is not like they are going to involve in EMA.
What I am trying to say is that iff they still love and want to be with each other, they should proceed aggressively no matter what...asking questions etc. If they have some clue, they should not stop. If they are stopping, that means they accepted their fate. Then any amount of scenes showing longing, trip and fall etc will not help the story. What are they going to convey with that?
I hope this Dua's truth is a new slate and they(writers) should start afresh. Both the leads made peace with their past and ready to move on! Can we accept that...then the audience also will have chance to start with fresh pov, without bringing the past nonsense they weaved.
But if she says then there will be truth to it. They get the data.Originally posted by: WittyKittyVixxy
