Internet goes crazy after Anne Hathaway says InshaAllah - Page 2

I don’t understand what the big deal is honestly it’s just words. Yes, it’s known as something Muslims say but at the end of the day it’s just words. Neither side should feel a certain way about it at all but we live in such a world.

I say ‘Thank God’, ‘Bhogobaan’ or ‘Inshallah’ and occasionally ‘Inshallaharaam’. I am a non-believer. Am I going to get oscar or not for my marvelous achivements for saying these ?

Just cover the recent Namita Thapar case... Just for saying that offering Namaz is also a type of an exercise and good for health; what all threats she and her mother are getting.

I am a proud Indian and I have no qualms about it, but I'm not delusional either. It's happening and that's the reality. Just because this is India Forums, doesn't mean I live in a fantasy world.

Genuinely curious, who would threaten her?

Hindu groups wouldn’t care what a Christian American actress says on any promotional tour. Christians certainly would have an issue. So is the threat coming from the Christian groups or the Muslim ones per your analysis? Because Hindus have been saying Inshaallah, Masha Allah, Shubhan Allah etc thanks to movies if nothing else while singing songs with all these words included.

Asking this as an Indian watching the TCS and Lenskart drama unfold amongst others waiting to be exposed.
