How's the home side feeling? Xavier Bartlett, when asked about the acrobatic effort from Shreyas Iyer in the last game, says it was an unbelievable catch. He adds that Shreyas was already halfway there when he started moving. Mentions that Iyer showed excellent awareness and presence of mind to lob it in his direction. Bartlett says that is exactly the kind of effort Shreyas practices day in and day out.

Words from the LSG camp - Lucknow's head coach, Justin Langer says that once the batting unit gets going, it will be really exciting to see that, and they are not far off. Langer adds that Pooran is continuing to work hard on his game, just like how every great player does, and the experience he brings to the side is unmatched. Langer believes that the brand of cricket Pooran plays is what the team needs going ahead. JL praises Mukul for his hunger and says that he is one of the hardest-working players in the side, and it is delightful to work with such a player
