I don’t think the blouse necessarily qualifies as revealing clothes. Not until we see more of this woman and know whether she was dressed up for what might be a special occasion considering the anniversary thing or is it a regular feature with her like Komolika.

Karan hugged Tanya too. So that won’t be a problem as it is they can simply say Karan is foreign raised in Australia so he grew up in a place where friends hugged each other and their gender had no connection to it.

The real issue will be who she is, who is this son of Karan’s and when his real identity is out aka he’s Ansh’s son whether born to Nandini or not, why did Karan keep this from everyone? If Nandini isn’t the mother, why hide this child because the family certainly had a right to know that they have another grandson. If Nandini is the mother, then why is another woman raising this kid? What circumstances led to this? Even if say she had wanted to give this kid away because he was born of an assault, then why and how did the family agree to this? In S1 Tulsi was in jail when Nandini goes into labour and eventually a coma while having Bhoomi. If Nandini had no such thing happen to her in this season, then how did she manage to make the Viranis and particularly Savita agree to give this child away? If somehow she managed that, then who is the woman that Karan found to raise this child? Why her? Did he confide in anyone? Tulsi perhaps regarding this matter?

Karan is raising his nephew for sure. The only question is whether he’s also a stepson or not.

I don't think he needs to hide his nephew unless he is also his stepson.

The only excuse could be that in this story after Ansh' death immediately Karan Nandani shifted to the US(probably to take Nandani away from those sorrows). There they got to know Nandani was pregnant and maybe she had a relapse or PTSD. Could also be she went into coma like in original

Karan therefore has the child removed from their lives without telling anyone (either saying child was stillborn or that it died as an infant)

But I still don't understand where does Tanya come into picture here. Did Karan marry Tanya after the birth of this child like he did in case of Bhoomi? But unlike in case of Bhoomi, here he asked Tanya to take the child with her once she left after Nandani was awake. But then Parth should be younger to this child and would mean that Karan asked Tanya to take Nandani's son with her while have her own son left for Nandani to look after. This seems stupid but not completely impossible in Ekta universe

I still think this lady isn't Tanya, could really have been Mandira, because at that time Karan didn't find anyone else reliable enough to give the responsibility of child (remember she might have been evil but she near a good job in raising Karan) but I don't think makers will bring Tuhir third angle at this stage when they are making them reunited. So it will be some third person

Legally the previous marriage gets annulled if there is no contact between spouse for 7 years

Personally, I don’t consider marriages under blackmail, force, lies and threats as valid marriages anyway regardless of whether previous spouse was alive or not. ITV keeps showing such crappy marriages. IPK to Madhubala to ishqbaaz the fls are shown forced to get married against their will. Is there a law against this in India?
