I prefer RHTDM!!!!!! !!! :( !!

I love Asoka album too. It's hard to compare the two..

..but RHTDM is something else.. I used to and still think, feel, dream about every crush (since I was in 5th class!) and every lover whenever I listened to Zara zara.. not just in Hindi, but in two of it's other versions too (Telugu and Tamil) ...not that I haven't done the same with Roshni Se and Raat Ka Nasha, but let's just say Vaseegara is special :p

...and, the other songs too.. just this theme music is so romantic.. the entire album is something else in my heart..

Rehna hai tere dil me

Neither. I prefer the post 2010 era of Bollywood songs. Arijit's voice is magical. Not a big fan of Sonu Nigam.

If it's between only the two, I don't mind either. Usually, I prefer the southern versions of RHTDM (barring the original songs composed for the Hindi remake).

If it's about only Anu Malik and we are talking about the most original work, then I would prefer Aks to Asoka. Now, that's truly out of the box and highly underrated.

2001, widely considered the epitome of Bollywood music in the modern era with Magnum opus's like Tum Bin, Gadar, Lagaan, DCH, KKKG, Yaadein, Monsoon Wedding, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, RHTDM, PTKK etc found it weird to see someone reminiscing a forgettable album like Asoka. Unexpected for sure!

I hardly listen to RTDM album where I listen to Asoka songs frequently so I will pick that album even though RTDM is an amazing album.
