Eshan Malinga | Player of the Match: Before the match we had a good plan and we know the Hyderabad wicket, after 10 overs it reverses. Actually Ishan was coming for me, he asking me - what kind of deliveries you are going to bowl. At the bowling crease, I decide what to bowl. The reverse is very important for me and the other bowlers. It's a good wicket-taking delivery.

Ishan Kishan | SRH captain: Lovely when you have a bunch of young bowlers. They are coming up with their own plans and it was lovely to see them do their job. 100%. Abhishek got out pretty early, when we have scored 220-230, we have seen one batter going big. Actually looking at them in practice sessions, giving their best, day by day in practice. Give them the ball and let them do what they want to. (on the pitch) Very good batting surface and we were 30-40 short. We should've batted better. We are not looking at the points table. Taking it one game at a time.

Unfortunately, the top and middle batting order didn't give the tail enders the scope to finish. At least Overturn was battling. But what do we expect from them when none of the actual batters are doing nothing exceptional.

So sad that the day Sanju doesn't perform, CSK loses the match.

Which painfully reiterates the fact that we are overtly dependant on one person and haven’t got a back up plan. Rest of the teams have back up a,b,c.

There was a time when even tail enders used to bat in CSK. Now, even top order batsmen cannot do their jobs. Sigh.
