DC reign back control - On the back of world class death bowling, the Capitals have managed to restrict RCB below 175. Just 2 boundaries came in the last six overs, none in the last two.

Don’t lose hope sis RCB has great bowlers today. Unless they are all expensive, it’s not possible for DC to win.

RCB finish their innings with a score of 175/8. For a long time, it looked like RCB would reach a much higher total because Salt played a fantastic knock, scoring 63 runs off 38 balls. He got some help from Tim David and Virat Kohli, but the team struggled to find the boundary in the second half of the innings. The Delhi Capitals bowlers did an amazing job of slowing down the game just when RCB wanted to score quickly. Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Lungi Ngidi were the best bowlers for Delhi, taking two wickets each and making it very hard for the batters to score.

The end of the innings was a real struggle for RCB, as they lost 4 wickets for only 29 runs in the final five overs. The Delhi bowlers were especially good at the very end, giving away just 8 runs in the last two overs. While a target of 176 is still a good challenge, Delhi goes into the break feeling very happy because they completely stopped RCB’s momentum. We will be back for the chase.
