If I had to pick one woman to win the Australian Open, I’d look at players who combine strong hard-court form, fitness, and mental toughness. Right now, names like Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Świątek, Elena Rybakina, and Coco Gauff are always serious contenders because they have the power and consistency needed for Melbourne conditions.

If I had to choose a favourite, I’d lean toward Aryna Sabalenka because her aggressive game suits the Australian Open courts, and she has already shown she can handle the pressure there. But women’s tennis is very competitive now, so surprises are always possible.

A lot depends on the draw, injuries, and momentum during the tournament. One hot run can change everything. I’ve seen similar debates on sportsplay24 where fans are split between proven champions and rising stars.

My pick: Sabalenka, but I wouldn’t rule out Świątek or Gauff at all.
