I echo your sentiments. I was one of the vehement ones, yk ? Who used to insist that after MS is done, I might not even watch IPL. And to be honest, I didn't stay up to watch Rutu's post match interview (what once used to be my personal favourite of any CSK match). It's nothing against him, it simply doesn't hold the charm it used to.

Even if it wasn't practical, Mahi haina used to be answer to every concern of CSK.

But this CSK? It falls, tries and learns, every single match -- like a newborn trying to walk. It feels nice to see them becoming comfortable in their own skin, making the best of the talent they have.

@b: that farewell note still makes me sad. Of all the people, he deserved a farewell for everything he has done. But I guess some people never get what they deserve?!

If PBKS (if there are any) fans can dream of a trophy after 18 years, we can dream for a 6th trophy after just 2 years of failure.

But, yes, you are right, I should keep my hopes till the last match. After which we'll get to know if it is a Definitely yes or no from him. As they say - Let the news come from the horse's mouth.

I didn't catch 2024-2025 much either. Maybe 1-2 matches after Rutu was ruled out, and only because MS gave the post match interviews lol (Ik ik, incorrigible)
