TN people should’ve rejected freebies at the outset itself. But they r falling for it everytime, every election. Now neither voter nor politicians r willing to let go of it.

It cannot be same for all states..coz all states don’t offer the same level of cooperation. Red tapism, resistance or support from state govt, people’s cooperation, existing infra of the place, talent pool, resources of that region..lot of things affect the decisions.

Maharashtra is n example. Metro work suffered a lot due to Aarey protests. Now that its ready commute has become so much better for mumbaikars. We don’t even receive videos of empty trains from influencers. Bullet train project was withhold coz UT wasn’t cooperating. Lost precious time n money coz of that..its again on now..though much delayed. So hostilities and non cooperation matter a lot

It is mostly the rural population(totally caste based) which make difference..their homes are literally run by freebies

There is only one party out of all which doesnt offer freebies ..It is NTK..all their manifestos are very good in paper but they are not winning..they dont have PR or anything like other parties which is where they lag..they do have considerable population voting for them but just not enough

But can u tell me why it's happening?? Imean not everyone is facing this issue but surely there are few cases like this, so I want to knw the reason. Is it technical glitch or something??

I don't know but most probably a technical problem. If their platform of billing for smart meters was not well prepared and tested then why are prepaid meters being forcefully imposed on customers in such a rush? Couldn't they have waited till the platform of billing was ready & accurate and tested on a smaller number of users before causing us such trouble.

I became aware of this billing problem only because i was checking the app everyday and taking ss. What about the ones who are not doing this. What if my balance was below ₹2000? My electricity too would have been disconnected for no fault of mine.
