Me too
Bought an induction, infact 2. I already had induction vessels..back then , when lpg prices increased , I bought a lot of them š but then its tough for me to tell everyone in the family what to do and how so they went their way ..
Although we got our cylinder in 4 days only , they said next one will be booked after 25 days ..so we use induction with normal cylinder & earlier cylinder lasted for just 14 days now it lasts for 30 days
Cylinder lasting just 14 days? Do you weigh the cylinder on delivery. If not then do it as a rule. The delivery men are required to bring a spring balance scale and weigh the cylinder in front of you during delivery.
I also didn't used to weigh the cylinder on delivery but someone told me to do it as a rule. The first time i did i was shocked cos it was 4 kg less than what it should be i.e 29.5 kg. 4 Kg out of 14.2 kg gas that you get in 29.5 kg gas cylinder. Then i complained to the agency and they replaced the cylinder.
About 6 months back (after Diwali) it happened again. First time the delivery man said he forgot the scale but insisted that the weight is correct and even asked for Diwali ki tip. After he left, On suspicion, i checked on my weighing machine it was again 4 kg less. On complaint they sent another delivery guy with a spring balance who kept messing with the scale and everytime weight would come different. He weighed 2 different cylinders in front of me all of wrong weight. I complained to the agency with pics of the weight of those cylinders. Finally on the third delivery i got a cylinder with full gas. After that i bought a spring balance scale just so i can weigh the gas cylinder with my own scale on delivery. Such is the scam going on in gas cylinder deliveries.
